Help needed in skinning
« on: December 27, 2014, 11:51am »
Well, I could use an elaborated step-by-step tutorial on successfully skinning. If anyone could help, I'd be grateful. Also, if possible, could whoever's willing to help also name the programs used and, if not asking for too much, also explaining any... "new terms"?

Hi, I know for a fact that Midnightphoenix123's (http://marvelmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,7640.0.html) skinning tutorial worked wonders for me and my knowledge of skinning, though I'm still very inexperienced. Another great and very in-depth skinning tutorial is BLAW's (http://marvelmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,2398.0.html). Both tutorials give you links to the programs, plug-ins, and etc. that you will need. And I'm not sure what you mean by "new terms".

Also, for future reference, a great place to post these kind of requests for help is under either Marvel: Ultimate Alliance's Technical Issues board or X-Men Legends II's Technical Issues board, depending on which game you are using. I only saw this due to the chance I was curious as to what was being posted in the off-topic sections. Unfortunately many people probably won't see this since it's tucked away here! Anyway, I hope this helped at least a little bit!

Thanks a lot for the help. There are just so many threads for questions that I still can't seem to find them/remember the full name of the threads to search them. I'll make sure to try and re-read both tutorials though.

P.S. Just for further reference, by "new terms" I was reffering to terms like "HUD", "compiling" and so on.
