A question?
« on: March 10, 2016, 01:01am »
Ok, Before I work on getting these Mods on here. Should I run through the game unlocking the in game characters first? Would adding mod characters screw up getting these In Game characters, like Dr. Strange and Blade etc?

Where can I get a safe download of Heroselect?  I found a site that just sent a virus and I haven't seen you promoting a place on the mod folder/

For your first question, you don't have to unlock in-game characters, because you have to start a new game (and erase the old one) to access the modded characters anyway.

For the second question, I'd have to look again, but there should be a link for the official characters pack download site that gives you a clean download of it, which includes heroselect.  Of course, I always scan the downloaded file(s) with an antivirus anyway, just to be safe.

Ok ran into a new problem,  extracting the Open Characters file

and it says

0 can not open output file heroselect\characterselect.exe
1 can not open output file heroselect\Heroselect.exe
2 can not open output file heroselect\NRcompiler.exe

won't complete the extraction
