This could be huge! If they update the visuals who knows that it might do for modders. Maybe this could even mean we finally get MUA2 PC! Either way I'll be getting this on PS4 if they do a remastering.

TTvTT. Steam & Vita plz. Is there a link to download those MUA game? What's inside the content?

Will it has a mixed exclusive contents into 1 like in SCIIHD, but has a new contents added like a certain latest game edition?

I don't see myself buying a ps4, but I hope that if they do it, they add some ideas from here.

It would be awesome if they could add mods to MUA1 like they are doing for the Skyrim port to PS4, but I doubt they'll do that. It would be GREAT if this meant we could see MUA2 for PC... but, again, I doubt it.

HOWEVER, I *do* think this means they're testing the waters for a future MUA3 release! (Or at least a game similar to it.) Disney said when canceling Infinity that they were still wanting to release video games, just not make it themselves, so *crosses fingers* here's hoping! (the only thing I'm sad about is that any AAA marvel game probably won't have ANY xmen....)

I'm crossing my fingers. That would be amazing! Plus it'll finally give me a use for my 3rd and 4th controllers, since it seems that most games these days are only made for 1 or 2 players.

These could just be backwards compatibility listings.

I don't think that's a backward compatibility listing. On the PS4 one actually.

The backward compatibility on PS4 (also on Vita) (Playstation Plus) only cost money rent + mostly released the rented PS3 fighting games & less other genre games.

Also, PS3 version of Marvel Ultimate Alliance never get the Latest Edition's exclusive contents (like the characters) for some reason (same goes to other consoles outside Xbox 360)

Yeah it doesn't make sense for it to be a backwards compatibility listing. Why go through all this trouble uploading an item to your store when it's not produced or sold anymore? Also, Infinity had a lot of content leaked this way (by retailers posting inventory online too early).

Backwards compatibility was the wrong choice of words. What I meant was that it would be a basic digital re-release. A few years ago I spoke with the lead engine programmer at Vicarious Visions to try and get help with the X-Men Legends PC Project. He said they didn't have the source code to anything prior to MUA2 any more. That's why I'm assuming this is nothing more than a re-pack of the original games in digital form. Both the X1 and the PS4 are set up to add backwards compatibility patches.

Regardless, I can't see these being anything more than basic re-releases. I *hope* they add new characters or costumes, but all these re-release games ever are is just an updated game executable at most. Sometimes we get more HD textures and better screen resolution, but never new content.

I felt that MUA2 may only uses VVisions version + former DLCs included by default as of 360's GoD (Games of Demand) version, not n-space version ones, meaning we're gonna feel sorry on unable to see those n-space exclusives (safe for Psylocke & Magneto) in there then

As for MUA1, besides may get HD textures, due to all console versions' gameplays are the same (sans GBA), along w/ similar graphics on a certain previous console ports (not counting GBA), it still unsure if the current gen port of this game may either:

* includes existing contents from PSP & 360 latest editions into 1 on those current gen ports, like how SCIIHD had both Heihachi (who were PS2 exclusive) & Spawn (who were original Xbox exclusive) in there (not counting Link due to the character belongs to Nintendo)

or

* just use 360's latest editions' version instead, without adding the exclusive contents that was exist in PSP version (safe for Hawkeye character), despite the playstyle still the same as i mentioned above, yet different graphics

?
