Pyro Uncanny Booster (Cohollow)

Bringing the heat from down under! This hot head is fueled up and rocking all new powers, and burn effects, well suited for setting his enemies ablaze. With re-balanced powers, and bug fixes, Pyro is now equipped to set the world on fire. Able to spread his damage between multiple enemies with relative ease, none will escape Pyro's all new burning fury!

Add this file to reduce the skill count of shared skills like mutant master, and to add the striker passive that i will be adding to some characters!

Abilities

Attacks

Fireballs Throw fire balls in rapid succession. (rapid tap)
Changes - New Ability

Burst Fire(Flaming Pillar) Creates a column of flame, doing heavy knockback to surrounding enemies.
Changes - Increased radius

Fire Bats Multiple fire bats seek out, and knockback surrounding enemies.
Changes - More bats
             - Bats do knockback
             - Now spawn above the player
             - Bats continue after they hit enemies
             - Larger hit radius

Triple Torch Pyro throws three homing fire balls, that leave enemies with intense burns.
Changes - New Ability

Rising Flames(Burn) Nearby enemies are launched into the air by jets of fire.
Changes - Does popup
             - Damage is done in three ticks over one second
             - Smaller radius
             - One extra blast

Fire Blade A radial sweep of fire, hits multiple enemies with increased critical chance.
Changes - Radial instead of melee
             - Greatly improved animation

Xtremes

WILDFIRE An xtreme fiery explosion causes fire damage and lights enemies ablaze.
Changes - Bug Fix (Now does damage overtime as intended)
             - Does fire damage instead of radiation

FIRE IT UP Makes pyro invincible, and increases his damage for a time.
Changes - None

Boosts

Torch Fury Adds fire damage to melee attacks for the entire party.
Changes - None

Flame Shield A shield of fire increases defense, and damages nearby enemies.
Changes - None

Passives

Flame Mastery Increases damage and chance of criticals with fire damage.
Changes - None

Branding Fists(Elemental Combat) Adds additional fire damage to non-powered melee attacks.
Changes - Reduced damage increase
             - No longer buffs Burst Fire or Fire Blade

Scorch Increases all resistances.
Changes - Reduced resistance increase
             - No longer increases fire resistance

Hot Head Increases fire resistance, and defense rating.
Changes - New Ability

Mutant Mastery Increases EP regeneration rate


Other Features

- All passives require 3 less skill points
- Pyro now has his own effects file, separate from sunfires effects file
- Many minor changes to abilities that are not listed such as damage, EP cost, added sounds, improved effects, etc
- Features an additional skin made by the modding community

Thx from Canada! So far he's my favorite out of all my boosters. hmmm i wonder how i'll go about making sunfire feel different  :sunfire:

I'm sure anything you come up with will be awesome! Btw, if you in the future decides to make an Ironman booster, get some inspiration from the "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame" hehe I'm sure those movies will give ya a lot of ideas to bump Ironman talents up, cause they're all almost really horrible in XML2 haha

I'm sorry, way too many ideas for different boosters haha i just get really excited to see someone working on XML2 xD

a couple damagee increasing gear pieces can make pyro super OP with the amount of damage ticks his burn effects cause. i wonder if i should do something to pull back on this and make him balance better with other characters in late game.

what do u guys think about this? i could reduce the amount of damage tick done by the burns without reducing the natural burn damage, is this a good idea? Pls let me know ur opinions on the current balance of pyro and what could possibly be done better  :pyro:

A whole bunch of re-balancing and fixing went into this dude. The Uncanny version fixes old issues wiht he power icons, fixes a bugged damage of his extreme, adds a new skin, incorporates the new passive set up, much easier to apply (no recompiling required), and so much more. Be sure to hit up this new and improved booster to give Pyro the epic fiery output he deserves!

If anyone gives Pyro a go, let me know how his Branding fists (elemental combat) feels. I reduced the melee damage increase as i found it rather OP. It made him a better striker than actual melee based characters. I wish to apply a similar nerfing to other characters with such a passive. Using Branding Fists and his melee buff can still be rather powerful tho. let me know if it feels more balanced, and if I overdid it or not please!
