Blade—The Daywalker Booster

Hello everyone! Well it's been a bit since I've done a Marvel character related booster (and this one in particular's one that I've been putting off for a good long while because fixing some effect-related issues were making me get more gray hairs than I thought it would XD ) but here's me and deidara1046's collaborative take on a movie-inspired booster for Blade!  :blade:

Featuring:

New Powers and Animations
- Shotgun Strafe (from Blade's MUA2 moveset): Deal ranged damage with Blade's shotgun to cause knockback while still being able to freely move around while firing.
- Vampiric Kata: Unleash a devastating series of consecutive kicks to an enemy, knocking them around for as long as the power button is held.

Reworked powers including, but not limited to:
-Spike of Destruction throws three spikes rather than one with a new animation
-Slayer Slash lunges forward to deal damage, with an improved arc and damage values as well as a forward momentum that allows it to close distance for safer use (inspired by Bang!'s booster)
-Glaive Strike has been reworked to be thrown as a radial power, throwing the glaive in a spiral arc around him to deal damage and knockback before returning to Blade's hand
-Blood Haze now recolored with red effects, as well as the effect of revealing those caught in the spray as their true vampiric forms, weaking them with debuffs while they suffer poison damage for a short time afterwards and leaving them vulnerable to follow-up attacks!
-Some improvements inspired by Nightcrawler's Blade Booster
-Grabsmash steals health and energy from enemy on use
     -Additional shotgun effects on knockback
-Jump smash animation from prototype build
-Additional healing factor and critical strike passives to herostat
-Increases damage taken while using Blood of The Warrior (now renamed "Sate the Thirst") but improved movement speed, striking, and attack speed.

New Voicepack and Soundpack inspired by Wesley Snipes

New Effects

-Credits:

Deidara1046 for collaborating with me on this project, help with Blade's voicefile, loadscreens, new block combos, trigger reduction and reworked Spike of Destruction power, as well as ripping several animations from the X-Men Legends games for use with his new martial arts-focused Vampire Kata power, as well as converting the Morlock model from XML1 used as the skin for converted Vampires, and for!

Nightcrawler171711, Bang!, and Outsider (as well as those credited in their mods) for the excellent boosters that were used as inspiration and reference when making this booster, as well as Outsider's Neo character mod for the skin swapping with his XTreme power.

Amit for his excellent MFF Blade skin used as the new default

Captain Jack Sparrow (Pirates of The Caribbean) Character Mod

Captain Jack Sparrow was dead.

Well, he was pretty sure he was dead, the pernicious squid's favorite beastie wasn't one to spit out whatever it took in its nasty, uncomfortably rank beak. Like any decent, self-respecting captain who wasn't a shame to the title, he'd gone down with his ship—his beloved Black Pearl—once that Kraken had seized it with its tentacles...because being shackled to the mast by Turner's charming murderess made the possibility of making for the longboat had made that means of escape a veritable impossibility.

But no one had told him about how bloody cold Davy Jones's Locker would be.

"Bugger," he swore as he tried again to tug at the wheel, stuck from barrel to axle by the frost that had claimed the ship, embedded in the sea of ice as it had been since he'd met his end at the maw of that beast and had awoken to the sight of The Pearl frozen in place.

It was a special kind of Hell, he supposed, seeing something that so purely represented the freedom that he loved so bereft of it.

He tried again, harder now as the buggers came in quicker succession as his efforts were met with equal success.

"Bugger. Bugger. Bugger. Bugger!"

Releasing the wheel, the Pirate Lord of The Caribbean elected instead to take a gander at the state of the rest of his beloved Pearl, his gait that meandering swagger that was intrinsic to him as breathing air and drinking rum.

"Not good. Very not good. Very very not good...there will be no living with that woman after this...unliving with her. There shall be an irrevocable un-unliving policy for interacting with succubi of her ilk, all...sulky and temptingly giraffe-necked."

It was when he was inspecting the rigging of one of the tack lines that he noticed another peculiarity as to the nature of his predicament. Slinking out from the bowels of his ship to the gap in the baseboards that led to the lower decks were a scattering of figures garbed suspiciously in brown furs and horned helmets with large shields in their hands.

"Must be the French," he mused, blinking in confusion. He hadn't noticed them come aboard. Had they been there the whole time he was here? That was...decidedly unappealing a prospect. "No, not French, not nearly enough snails and fashion...come to join my crew, lads?"

One of the men shambled forward.

"No, mortal. But you will join ours...among the dead."

Then the rest of the figures shambled closer now, so close now that Jack could see the corpselike pale-blue hue of their skin and the gleam of their broadswords as they drew them in unison.

"The living have no sway here in Niffleheim, mortal! Stand and meet your end!"

Jack pondered it for a moment, compartmentalizing this information despite his unease. Still living, so he was not dead. Niffleheim, so not in Davy Jones's Locker.

"Ah...well that won't really do me well at all," Jack said, slowly backing away from the approaching tide of undead warriors. "My head's not really the right shape to be wearing a set of horns, Savvy?"

He took a step back. Then another...

"But you won't go entirely empty-handed, gentlemen," he said, confidence emboldening the delivery of his speech as he drew his cutlass with the screech of rusted iron scraping out of the leather of its sheath. "You'll remember this very day as the day in which you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow!

Just couldn't keep away, eh?

Here with another exciting character release: Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of The Caribbean!
