PC Online play

I tried both online and lan and have run into a problem. Whenever more than 1 person joins a game, it won't let player 3 and 4 connect. IE. I host, my friend joins, friend 2 tries and gets unable to connect, friend 3 tries and gets unable to connect. Is anyone else getting problems like this?
