In XML2 - What is Speed good for??

You know in the Stats you have Speed whick raises ATK and DEF. And man I know the describtion from the game. But I do not think that it really has an effect. Since then I only skill on Body, Focus, Strike and I DO HIT the villains though I have only basic Speed stats. Can anyone tell me the actual effect of Speed(not the drug) or doesn´t it have any?

Speed is really useful when you think about it.  As your speed increases it takes less time for you to execute a combo or use a power, which means you can execute another combo or power sooner.  Basically it means you can get more hits in a shorter amount of time.  Speed's really great against bosses.

Really? That is strange I never realized the difference, maybe it is because you skill you Stats so slow that I did not see the difference.

NO NO NO, the game SHOWS you what speed does, it affects your ATK and DEF ratings, which is basically accuracy for the non-power melee attacks and dodge rate respectively.
To think you've been misled all this time!!!
