I disagree with this - Storm controls the "actions" of mother earth if you will and yes Jean is one of the strongest but without her phoenix force she will fall at battle with Storm although it would be very, very close as Jean would be able to defend herself for a while. Storm would also win in hand to hand combat.

Jean would destroy Storm easily with the phoenix force but ah well.

Nevermind lol we're are all allowed our own opinions.

I think Jean Grey will win, because she could control Storm with her mind, or even rip her atoms apart telekinetically. Jean is a omega-level mutant, and while Storm may be one too I doubt that Storm could control the Phoenix Force, and only the most powerfull mutants can wield the Phoenix Force.

I totally agree. Even without her telepathy, she can crush every bone in storms body with just her telekinises. Storm has no chance. Her TK is an instant killer. Now I think about it, it wouldn't even be a close result. Definitley the right verdict.

I had to bring this up again (sorry).

both of them could win depending on who attacked first, they're both able to kill the other in a heartbeat. storm could just fry her with a lightning bolt at 200.000 miles a second and Jean could break every bone in Storm's body with a thought. If they were in it to kill, it would all depend on who attack first. But Storm is definitly more skilled, strategic and a better warrior, no doubts in my mind.

no, she won't...it would take a lot of effort to break down storm's defenses before she could read her mind...she wouldn't have that time against storm.

Being telepathic offers no protection towards a homing lightning bolt in the face. If Jean puts up a TK shield then that gives Storm time to create a whirlwind to blow her away.
