Alternate Costumes

I just recently bought XML2 and have been playing it, but the alternate costumes have me stumped.  There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to unlocking them. For example, I have barely played with Jean all game and she has 4 costumes, but I've been almost always playing as Gambit and he still only has one.  Why is this?

The customes are unlocked by completing the acts. I think all of them

Yes, the discrepancy just comes down to the fact that the developers picked more costumes for some characters and less for others (yes, yes, we can all moan about how AoA Deadpool got in, but DoFP Deadpool did not; or how there was no Cyclops TAS skin out of the box, or that Pyro's skin choices were... uber-weird, etc., etc.).

So is this the only costume for Gambit, or are there other you unlock along the way?

Gambit has four in total in XML2. Don't fret.
