Yup, when it came all I could think about was Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. I don't think the fusion thing is a spoiler, but if it is sorry.

Practically, there are quite some people, who haven't seen it yet Just started playing Marvel: Avengers Alliance of Facebook. Pretty simple game, but I really enjoy it.
