Sales-wise, there's hope for a Gold Edition

NOTE - you have to copy/paste the links, you can't click on them due to how VGchartz.com builds their urls.

So MUA2 has not sold well recently, but MUA1 really didn't either around this time.  MUA2 had a much better start, having a huge spike in sales at the beginning.  See the link below (MUA2 is in blue, MUA1 in red)

http://www.vgchartz.com/swlaunch.php?reg1=All&game1=Marvel%3A+Ultimate+Alliance+2+-+X360[34456]&reg2=All&game2=Marvel%3A+Ultimate+Alliance+-+X360[5328]&reg3=All&game3=&weeks=85&weekly=1

Now, that being said if we put MUA2's data in front of MUA1's on the chart as seen here...

http://www.vgchartz.com/swlaunch.php?reg1=All&game1=&reg2=All&game2=Marvel%3A+Ultimate+Alliance+-+X360[5328]&reg3=All&game3=Marvel%3A+Ultimate+Alliance+2+-+X360[34456]&weeks=85&weekly=1

(MUA2's data is now green)

...you can see that there were a large number of weeks that MUA1 sat basically idle until the Gold Edition came out (which spiked the sales).  MUA2 still has a while before it gets to the same number of weeks out with the Gold Edition for MUA1.  So there's some hope.  So we'll see if we get one.  Gold Editions are never anything more than the game packaged with pre-existing DLC, so we can't expect new stuff, but for someone like me it's the only way to get the DLC.

But, as always, no hope for a gold edition ported to PC :P

Damn. They (Activision) should released Gold Edition for PS3 & PC as well, because they forgot to put them on those ports unliked Ultimate Sith Edition.

There's no money in a PC version.  Besides, if they released a port of the PS3/360 version for the PC we would never be able to mod it.

Thats true. And our video cards might not be able tp handle it.
Getting cold?

No offense but I'd prefer a PS2/Wii import to the PC over the buggy hum-drum XBOX/PS3 version... I mean, I know PS2/Wii is limited but considering how much trouble the XBOX/PS3 version is just to play...

Off topic:

I miss David Tenant as the Doctor... :(

I prefer Matt Smith - took me forever to warm up to Tennant, but Smith has already won me

I just haven't found a better animated shot to use >_< plus, every Doctor is a Doctor to me

I'm surprised in what you are saying. I own both the PS2 version and the XBOX360 version, and the XBOX360 version has NEVER ONCE froze or slowed. Ever.

Where as the PS2 game slows constantly during game play and there is plenty of lag. And I have a PS2 that is new and I have only owned it for a month roughly and no other games lag on it.

As for gold, I will buy it when it comes out, I need it! :p

I'm gonna be optimistic and hope it will.

Dude!

I hope they release aPC gold edition. then  :moonk: could be modded in!  :moonk: rules!

I've honestly found more glitches in my Ps2 version than my 360 one.

Vicarious Visions have already confirmed there would NOT be a Gold Edition when they got the DLC back up.
