If you have downloaded the Spider-Man 2099 mod, you might have noticed that sometimes he is immune to knockback effects, I changed him from bruiser to bruiser_light and it was solved, I believe I should have made him a bruiser_light all this time. Anyway, you just need to make the following changes on his herostat to fix it:

That's it for now, I will update his herostat only on the next version (v1.1), as this is just a minor change.

EDIT: After playing the helicarrier and some comic missions with Mr. O'Hara using the bruiser_light herostat, I noticed it doesn't really fix the knockback immunity, although I noticed the occurrences are random, I don't know how to fix it. Still, I do recommend changing him to bruiser_light as this is the correct designation to him.

I'm afraid I can't, I don't think the wall crawl ability fits the MUA style, and even if I managed to do that, I think there would be a lot of bugs.

I know, Tien shinhan made a booster for Spidey that adds the wall crawl ability, but as I said, I won't be adding a wall crawl ability.
