- Powerset based on Phoenix from the Quad-mod, but trying to make her as different from Jean as possible. 5 powers, 2 defensive boosts, costume passives and xtreme. All effects are recolored.

Now she uses slot 125xx to avoid conflict with Jean Grey/Phoenix.

I certainly don't mind at all, since you gave the infamous "quad-mod" credit as a base, but I actually find it really funny that there have been enough mods done by now that we're seeing mods of other mods coming out. :applause:
:chuckle: It was actually easier than trying to convert powers from XML2 (or from the game's Jean). But there are many mods that stayed in a beta phase or from wich the general public of the forum doesn't have news since a long time ago, and they become very tempting material to work, like Magneto, Venom, Bishop, Toad, Rogue, Cable, etc. I have also found it interesting to dissect other people's works and compare them to the original characters, to see how they put their mods together.
Great mods, really like Wisdom's moves!
Mods look good. So many good mods makes me want to get a new PC to replace my clapped-out mongrel computer.
Thanks,I have an update but I'm waiting to test them and fix any issue before releasing them. Also looking for mannequin-able models (really hate when all the cool mods leave my select screen deserted).
Just a quick point about the mods - Wisdom's Momentum/ X-Treme meter builds up even when his X-Treme isn't unlocked but his X-Treme cannot be pulled off when it is full.
Its not a big issue as it doesn't affect gameplay in any way but i thought you might wanna know about it...

Nah, I use the local library's computer, and I have to type quickly and seldom have time to check and scan the entire board because I am only allocated half an hour on a computer.
Updated the two first posts and links to version 1.1 of each character. They now include icons and HUDs. Also, I moved Marvel Girl from 123xx to 125xx to prevent conflicting with the darkmythology Phoenix update.
Tested out Marvel Girl the other day. Loved the flying effect. Didn't have much time to experiment though.
Alright. I had a better opportunity to test Marvel Girl out and here's some of the stuff I noticed.
Her Xtreme ability has no effect, and when you look at it's description it lists the damage as "0".
Her healing ability (I forget which one--the one that increases the rate of your team's HP recovery in exchange for a portion of her health?) is useless. It takes away no health from her and doesn't increase the recovery. And it costs 0 energy.
Fine, so far I have the Wisdom momentum meter and Marvel Girl Xtreme and healing to fix. Those two are my first mods, so I expected to have problems, and since I rarely use boosts, passives and Xtremes, usually I don't pay much attention to them. Your observations are now in the to-do list.
EDIT: here is the fix for the Marvel Girl Xtreme. I still have to see what happened to that healing power (it's Eye of Agamotto, if anyone knows anything helpful about that power).

The Eye of Agamotto is Dr. Strange's main object he utilizes. It enables him to see the truth. "No lie or illusion can stand before its illuminating might", according to what he says in the Sanctum.

Oh sorry, I didn't know what he meant. That's the only Eye of Agamotto I know.
I meant the healing power had been copied from Dr. Strange's Eye of Agamotto power, wich has a healing effect, and that if anyone knew anything useful about how that power worked or why it didn't with Marvel Girl, please tell me so I can fix it.
EDIT: Important problem found! At max level, Wisdom throws all 7 hotknives in a row instead of a spread arc. Here's the patch, just overwrite the ps_wisdom.engb in your data\powerstyles folder.

Check the Character Mod Catalog, I updated the mod, so the older version was deleted.
Nice mods. I do have a problem with Marvel Girl though. She does not block and she does not show an animation for blocking. I have a bunch of mods installed so maybe something messed her up. I doubt it but you never know.
Edit: Nevermind I screwed something up in the hero file when editing it. I was putting in alot of new characters and somehow screwed it up.
Edit: Well I actually put the herostat in right this time but she still does not block. One weird thing is I just picked her at the beginning of the game and ened up with a team of Marvel Girls and the computer controlled characters seemed to block but when I switch to any of them I can't block nor does she do the animation for it. Any idea what could be causing this? No problem with other characters I have downloaded from you doing this. Probably something I am doing wron g I am sure.
It's happened to me before. I think there is a problem with her animations, none of her files seem to have the block animation. I think there may be a way to fix it without involving fightstyles, I'll check it later this week if the holidays allow.
All of your anims don't need to have a block animation in order for the character to block. My Iron Fist mod doesn't have any block animation, but he can still block. The game would simply use the block anim from the common/shared animations IGB file. You only need to define "block" if it wasn't defined in the fightstyle.
That must be what mine is missing, I'll have to check it out.
Thanks for the quick reply. My nephew loves your Marvel Girl character. He said it would be his favorite character if the block worked. He always comes home during the holidays so thats when I start playing MUA with alot of new modded characters. Look forward to the update.
Hello, I wanna tell that in my case, Marvel girl didn´t block because there was a error in her herostat.The talent block is not separated .
Boreman You made a error about a marvel girl's power called telekinetic shielding she doesn't create a telekinetic shield, she becomes INVISIBLE !
Boreman has been inactive for about 9 months, i'm not really sure he's gonna see your post.
i'm assuming since the mod is in stage 2 or 1 (i forget) its merely not completely complete. and since boreman's not active, unless someone gets permission from him to update it, it will probably not be complete for a while. someone can feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.
