Jean Grey - cause she has my fav powers out of the lot, she is passionate and caring for others. She managed to forgive and accept people who attempted to ruin her life like Mastermind and Emma Frost. So many things have happened to her in her life but she kept coming up. Death has not managed to stop her yet and she has the most powerful love in the world with someone very special to her hint, hint. This love helped save the universe more than once.

Storm, duh. She's my favourite female hero, has awesome powers, is a natural leader. She's fierce, strategic, ruthless and is never intimidated by anyone. She has lead the X-Men, Morlocks, Fantactic Four, X.S.E. and is so admired by her fellow X-Men that when she decided to leave the team half of them followed her. She's a queen, she's deep, never shallow. The pampered life of a spoiled queen is just not enough for her, she has vision and a warrior's spirit and will never rest till mutants are safe and accepted. She doesn't take her powers for granted and has beaten people like Callisto and Cyclops without using her powers. She has one of the strongest wills in the marvel universe, being able to resist telepathic assaults from some of the most powerful telepaths on earth such as the shadow king and emma frost. she's a great friend and several x-men are particularly close to her, some see her as a sister (Jean, Scott, Beast), some as a close friend an almost motherly figure (rogue, shadowcat, gambit, psylocke). She's the only X-Man that from the very beginning treated Xavier as an equal and not as that revered creature that other X-Men used to see in him. What can I say? She's complex, interesting and always surprising.

I agree. She would have been my 2nd choice. My fav moment with her and Xavier was in UXM 305 where she said she would never steal for him again.

I also really love her friendship with Jean. The issues in Classic X-Men or the original issues of UXM. Their moment in UXM 100 was very touching. In Inferno when X-Factor and X-Men were fighting to the death it was Storm and Jean's friendship that stopped the fighting and they were the only smart ones who didn't fight each other. Their moments in X-Treme X-Men, UXM 270, and Jean's wedding were great too. At Storm's wedding I wish Jean could have been looking down from the beyond or something. I'm sure she would have been the Maid of Honor.

One thing I really liked about Storm is that in the movies and comics she has been known to be a powerful speaker. A reason why she is always the speaker at funerals.

None. I dislike all of them. I prefer other X-Woman and some other female heroes.

Emma had a big part in that but unfortunately at the end it was Jean who finished it off. Scott picked Jean and couldn't move on from her when she died but Jean forced him to move on so that he would still be an X-Man and stop a bad future from happening. She saved the world but sacrificed her love. When Jean comes back I want her to restore Scott's original choice which was Jean. That is who he truly wanted at the end. So Scott and Emma may be together now and even if Jean never tells Scott about what she did and never fixes it, it would be Scott and Jean's love that won. Actually not even that it would be, she already has won. It was Jean that he picked as he wanted her. Maybe one day in the hands of the right writer they will be back together. Right now the only classic Marvel couple that is still standing is Reed and Sue.

that's not true. that dark phoenix wasn't jean, it was the phoenix force emulating jean. she was underwater at the time. she didn't break scott and jean up either. ever since he merged with apocalypse he was growing more and more distant from her.

In my opinion Emma didn't help the relationship although she did make it worse for both of them. However she didn't completely break it either. She isn't the only one at fault.

She did hurt it but at the end she wasn't the only one to blame. At least that is what I think.

Thats the thing i hate about Jean, she literrly keeps coming up, she's like in real life a super super marvel zombie zombie etc.

I didn't just mean deaths but other things. I mean her lover was married to her clone yet she dealt with that. Dealt with Maddie and Phoenix personalities and memories. She dealt with having a daughter from an alternate future. Its these things I meant besides her continuous deaths.

Still she makes a less enjoyable character that way. You ever saw an X-men flash where two guys where looking for jean? Emma replyed to them ''no im sorry she's not here since she's dead, but come back next month and im sure she's back''. It just gets annoying at a time. Black Widow and Ms M didnt have those ''oh watch me rise from the death and bring chaos to the world'' scenes

True. I hate her constant deaths and resurrections too but I still love the character. Her great things help me easily overlook her constant returns or departures. Also it isn't as though Jean plans these things. She doesn't enjoy dying and coming back.

Sure, but thats the exact reason i think she's less enjoyable, the writers got careless with Jean,  and her great things also come to an end, emma BW and Miss M also have had some great things :)

But she had an psychic affair with him. As I said the woman didn't break the relationship but she did do it harm.
And it wasn't that Emma was the stronger woman. It was the opposite. One reason Scott was distancing himself was because Jean was practically god-like with power and he hadn't progressed at all. In fact all of Emma's past flaws made him feel better about himself.
And even when Jean died Scott still loved her to much to move on. Only he left the X-Men and this caused a bad future so Jean had to change it to keep him with the X-Men so she made him pick Emma instead so he would have a reason to come back to the team. At the end even though Scott and Emma are together Jean still won, becasue Scott truly wanted Jean and no one else.

Funny,in most of the comics Cyclops and Emma are together.Plus Cycke needed to move on his wife is either all powerful or dead and im sure he couldn't take it.Scott stilll loves jean but he LOVES LOVES Emma

That's because Jean is dead right now in the 616 universe. He can't be kissing her corpse can he? In all other books they are not so I don't understand what you mean at all.

But notice that in media outside of comics they are always together. Tv shows, movies, games. There is a reason for that. They are soulmates that were meant for each other. I have to admit that the main thing that is interesting about the Scott and Emma relationship (in the Astonishing books at least) is that you can tell that they are not meant for each other like Scott and Jean were. While the Scott and Emma couple is interesting even to me, Scott and Jean were always meant for each other and that is even acknowledged right now in comics.

My own belief is that Jean has also made Scott say he was in love with Emma as she was the one to make him pick Emma so he would stay with the X-Men. At the time he said it Emma was creating so much trouble that it was likely they would fall apart so maybe Jean "pushed" Scott to say I love you so he would stay with her and the X-Men. That's my own belief and I don't expect others to follow it though.
