Definitely gonna give this one a go.  I'll be interested to see what animation you used for the bow/arrow.

cool i'll go try it out right now.

edit: you forget to upload the package files, .PKGB files

edit2: after making some quick package files i gotta say, great mod.  great idea using blink as a skin base, the ponytails and backpack really work for Moonstart, i love effects, they look great, and the Valkyries look great.

Okay, fixed the file to include the packages as well. Thanks to nodoubt for pointing it out.

@nodoubt: Thanks for the comments. AND for helping me put this together. btw, did you face any problems with the bow moves? Please let me know.

@Midnight: Well, considering how fast it was, I didn't know whether people would like the loadscreen or not. Thanks.

Aren't you forgetting to add the mental mastery as one of the passives? Character looks good by the way.

Momoshare looks like it's just going through some maintenance.  Give it a day and see if it works.

Updated the Moonstar MOD with 3 new skins (2 Mirages + MLF) and a new passive that is still untested. Let me know if it works, as I won't be getting time to check it in the coming weeks. Cheers!

Are you sure? I tested the files from the zip and they worked fine. The kick was already in the first version, as well. If anyone else has any problems with these moves please let me know.

Did you start a new game with the new powers?  You may have to.

yeah i started a new game and they dont appear at all. its cool though cause the powers she does have are awesome

@serenityq2: I really apologise for not being of any help. I seriously can't figure out why you are having the problem. I downloaded the file twice and checked them. They're still showing in my game. If you get the chance, try decompiling the talent/powerstyle entries and check whether the entries for the moves are there.

oh, and  btw, thanks for the comment!

I'm makig a MOD of a character I've created called Shadow. And one of his xtreme powers he summons a minion.

Is there any code in powerstyle for summon, for example, a character like Hell Hound (one of those dogs) with his own skeleton, powerstyle and sound?

Please, if anyone knows it, HELP MEEEE!

Check the package files. you might have misplaced one.

I check everything and it seems to be there as I copied and moved thigns straight as they were in the file. All that is showing up is 3 talent skills and no powers

Updated the MOD with power sounds and minor edits + new icons, hud heads, menu portrait and loadscreen. I personally recommend giving the sounds a try, as I've grown very fond of them, especially her xtreme sounds.

Also, the two powers I had added seem to have disappeared on me too, So until I sort it out, the mod stays minus those powers. Enjoy!

Wow, major kudos on that one.  I wondered how you'd pull off the arrow firing.  I wonder if that animation would look terrible on a male character...

I have no clue whatsoever. They just don't appear in the game. It's got to be some limit of the character spot I'm using or something, but anything after the Xth entry (I forgot which one) in the talents refuse to show in-game, just for her. If I move the entries up a spot, they show, but the lower powers are gone. Have to figure it out somehow.

Love this mod - but I can't get the bow to appear.

Whenever she shoots an arrow she twirls and an arrow comes out of her hand which is quite strange!

Anyone got any ideas what I may have done wrong?

Did you put the Viking_archer_bow.igb at the Models/Bolton file?
Title: Re: Moonstar MOD (with sounds)

Yep - did it twice just to make sure and I ended up over-writing the one that was there already. :(

something is wrong with mirage.
none of her powers show up on the power upgrade list except mutant mastery, and then she already had 2 arrow powers and manipulative mirage and wingless angels on the power menu during gameplay but they have no affect, what is wrong with her?
good job though

are you sure you are not the problem? like maybe you did something wrong? i was playing with her earlier and didnt run into any problem.  make sure you put everything in the right spot.

would the problem most likely be in the packages?

Sorry to bring this up like real late, but how doi know if I misplaced anything, should I just go back, delete thethings that belong to her, and then reinstal the mod from scratch?

Yeah, I was having the same problem as StepfordCuckoos...
Turns out that the "talents" folder was mistyped as "talent".
I changed the name to what it should be, and now the mod works fine.

Great mod, btw. :)

It's good now.  Hey Shaf, would it be possible if I could use moonstars first skin as my base for Alexandra since I have no idea how to skin edit and all that good stuff?

Sure, though wouldn't you prefer a unique looking character? If u can give me some sort of design, i think i can work up a skin for you.

Oh, thank you.
Okay, using the moonstar base w/out the arrows on her back.
blonde hair.  But the outfit is white.  She's supposed to be the daughter of Emma Frost.
Thank You.  When I get my intelligence level up. I will create my own skins and make them for you as well.

The talent file was not placed in the correct folder. You will have to do that manually.

1 Question can she be converted into MUA
Title: Re: Moonstar MOD (with sounds)
Post by: Lionsden99 on September 27, 2011, 01:57pm
I love how she spins in a circle before firing her psychic arrows. Almost like she's building momentum. Very John woo like.  I'm also in love with the work done on her costumes. I just wish she could come home to my New Mutant Team in MUA and join Wolfsbane, Karma and Cannonball. (and Maybe Roberto if I'm really lucky) also her Valkerie aid Extreme is one of the more clever  uses of the summon extremes I've seen yet.
