Anyway the game is divided into two sections. Section 1 is Secret Invasion and Section 2 is Dark Reign. The game ends with the Heroic Age beginning. The Cabal, Dark Avengers, and HAMMER will all be major stuff in the second half of the game. Siege will also be part of the second half (as part of Dark Reign).
So in the first half you have Stark and Richards contacting the four starter heroes to come to Stark tower as the Hand is attacking led by Elektra. Elektra is killed and discovered to be a skrull. The media somehow discovers this and leaks this news to everyone. People become suspicious about heroes as they kept this from them. Meanwhile Fury begins to believe that skrulls will start an invasion and everyone doubts everyone else's identities. Fury also restarts the taskforce which is the playable roster. Secrets will be revealed as more and more people reveal themselves to be skrulls. All is led to one final battle with heroes and skrulls.
Of course Osborn takes adantage of this and kills the Skrull Queen. He starts HAMMER, ends Shield and begins the Dark Avengers. Siege begins but not until you head to Thunderbolts mountain to rescue Songbird and Swordsman (the only two Thunderbolts who won't side with Osborn.) Swordsman dies and Songbird joins the team. After that the task force has several more missions until Siege begins. After Siege ends the task force battles Osborn and his forces and with Osborn's defeat the Heroic Age starts.
That is just the basic summary and of course there would be more missions. Maybe the team having to find Cage's baby and maybe even Doomwar. This would be part of the second half. The first half would have many missions involving stopping the Skrulls.
Places would include Stark Tower, the Baxter Building, X-Mansion, Latveria, Thunderbolts Mountain, SHIELD Underground HQ, Asgard.
There would be team bonuses with normal teams like X-Men, Fantastic Four, Avengers as well as other teams like Double Date, Femme Fatale, etc.
The fusion system would be uses and every character would have 2 alternate costumes besides the default costume, and 8 powers.
It really isn't too complete of an idea but the main summary of what I would want for MUA3.
Yeah if they make a MUA3 i would go with a storyline that brought all the heroes together like the Secret Invasion or Civil War and add Emma Frost cause LOTS of people wanted her other than that your ideas seem cool to me plus they should upgrade there fusion stuff i dont think every strong character like the thing and hulk have to throw wolverine or rip a rock out the floor and in 1 of the fusion pics magneto can make a tornado which doesnt make sense i can understand if jean and storm can make one but Magneto no.And they need to work on the characters a little more.black widow looks really ugly and jean had some big behind breast in her first class outfit.They need to upgrade there hair to Like Invisible Woman her hair looked bad including She Hulks
Yeah I would want fusions to be different. So Thing with Ms. Marvel would be different than Hulk and Ms. Marvel. As many fusions as possible would be unique. And yes Invisible Woman would need longer hair.
True and if invisible woman can fly when she does a clearing fusion with deadpool than she should be able to fly without fusions.and about the fusions when they released the trailer about mua2 fusions I thought every character has there own unique fusion but then I realize that you see the same stuff over
A bigger studio than Vicarious Visions at the helm. They did a good job, but they just didn't have the manpower to make it bigger, badder and better than MUA1.
I think VV did great at what they had at use, but your right as they couldn't go more than MUA. In fact a lot of stuff couldn't even equal MUA like the number of costumes and powers.
I hope they use punctuation in the conversations. That's all we need.

If they could put XML2's and MUA1's all good stuff, than it could be a great game. I don't care if it's MUA3 or XML3
I like the "Dark Reign" Scenario with a similar set up as MUA 2 where you pick sides. Only this time you can choose to join Osborn and have characters such as Taskmaster and The Hood, or side with the heroes. Only this time have 2 completely different rosters depending on which side you choose. Now, I don't know much about what all it takes to create a video game, so this might seem a bit sci-fi but here's the general layout of the game that I would like to see.
I'll see if I can put my thoughts into words.
- I'd like to have a full open world (sandbox) that covers the U.S. with a 50 state initiative roster setting. (think a really big grand theft auto style). There is a story, and certain missions but also allows for free roaming.
- Depending on where you are at depends on which superheroes you can be. i.g. If you're in San Francisco you can be the X-Men. If you are in New York, you can be X-Factor)
- However, you can have your heroes (or villains) travel through various modes of transportation to go to different map locations so that if you're the Punisher in New York and you want to help out Thor in Oklahoma you can. You can spend the money (credits) that you earn to purchase plane tickets, subway passes, taxis, etc. But let's say that in Oklahoma, you switched from Punisher to Balder and then had Balder make his way to the west coast to aid the X-Men. If you want to be Punisher again you have to pick him up back in Oklahoma. Now if you have a character like the Hulk, you could probably run from coast to coast without spending any money, or if you have...say...Cloak you could teleport your whole team. Does this make sense?
- You have "hero" and "street" mode where you can walk around freely as alter ego's as to find out information about what's going on and can purchase your airline tickets or whatever. People will respond to you differently whether or not you're in costume.
- While walking around this open world if you're a hero, you might see a bank robbery and can stop it or, if you're a villain and just see a bank and decide to rob it. (Think Ultimate Spider-Man)
- You can purchase news papers off the street that give you local and national headlines so that you could choose your next course of action. So say you're Matt Murdock and you buy a paper while wondering around Hell's Kitchen. Now in Local Headlines you read that there have been Bullseye sightings, but in the National Headlines you see that the Great Lake Avengers are having trouble with a string of mysterious murders. You can hang around Hells Kitchen and try and track down bullseye or head off to Michigan.
- Night and Day internal clock.
- On-line Co-op
- And of course a large roster of playables on both sides.

Story : Its pretty much a custom one
At the beginning, its a cutscene featuring the X-men in the X-jet, in the cutscene its explained theyre going on a mission to where isnt mentioned. Then Mr F calls you to come to the FF tower. You get to choose your roster (all X-men unavaible) And Reed tells you the X-men havent comeback for 12 months and sents your team out to investigate. Then its uncovered they where going to Egypt. Along the way to Egypt players find the X-jet crashed, after that you land there. And have a level full of enemies called ''????'' then when finished
Venom is on a wreaking havoc, after a boss battle Venom explains that Apocalypse has told him that there where more Symbiotes under the sand. So big A has returned, Venom also explains that A needs 4 Horsemen, and that he already has four mutants in his eye, who is also unknown to Venom. Then its a crapload of levels and along the way players will find X-men. When found those become avaible to.
Then it turns out Apocalypse four Horsemen are Surge, Hellion, Pixie and Elixer (based on fan-art XD). Players need to defeat them. Then its only a matter of time before you beat A. Then the credits start rolling. But just when four names pop up the screen starts to crash. And you hear Jean say ''Guys i dont feel so good'' She turns Dark Phoenix. Players need to defeat her and once more she's death (AGAIN). Then the real Credits start rolling :D
And what do you guys think? This probally be a bit more XML3 though, but call it whatever you like
well i think and i dont want to be very rude about it but for MUA 3 they need to put characters people actually wanted bad.Like Emma Frost not Sunfire or Longshot or even DOmino.I mean i like domino but i raather have someone better like She-Hulk than her or heck throw black widow in it
Yep. For a MUA game, we would need more Marvel heroes and less mutants. XML3 would be for mutants :D

i've had a few glitches once in a while i have it for ps3 i think 360 has more glitches than ps3

The game is an utter mess as far as bugs and glitches go, fanboy or not. Just do a five minute search with Google. I'm not saying the game wasn't fun, I'm saying it was utterly unplayable. To have to start over after getting to Wakanda was not fun. Corrupted saves, lockups, etc are unacceptable. And this was on a brand new Elite 360 with a new disc.
Anyways, all I'm saying is that Vicarious Visions did not have a big enough team to make the game better than the first. Graphically it looks a hundred times better, but features and gameplay were nothing new, in fact it was toned down from the previous game. Couple that with the bugs and you get my gist. VV tried, but didn't have the manpower to make it what it should have been -- a game that people don't trade in.
...oh, and before anyone says it, OF COURSE you didn't trade in your copy. This is Marvelmods after all, we're all major fans of Marvel games. So saying you didn't trade it in isn't a fair comment.

Yep, there are lots of X-Men. That's why there were XML games (Hopefully, they will make more). So a Marvel game should have more standalone heroes and such.

if they release xml3 and mua3 as sister games, then the problem is solved, and just have the most avengers/ff/independent in mua3 and all mutants in xml3 (which could be themed right after the house of m and go untill mesiah complex and include some new x-men, but that's not on topic sorry :P)

Let's start this again: MUA. Means MARVEL: Ultimate Alliance. So, we should have all kinds of Marvel characters. If I want to play with so many X-Men, than they should create XML3
But to me the X-Men represent a huge group and they have lots of well-known characters. Out of 60 characters if not 15 at least 12 then.
I would love to see Mockingbird playable then. Don't know why she came to my head first but I would really like her playable then.
Other characters like Captain Britian, CLoak/Dagger, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Captain Marvel, Echo.
See? There is a lot of important, popular and cool non X-Men Marvel character. We don't need that many X-Men, cause if they will make XML3, they would only use X-Men and many people would want other non X-men and lets get them a happy day.
I'm starting to get the feeling that we won't get XML3. I still have hope but if the game isn't created after a few more years I doubt it will ever come. I hope I am wrong. They hinted that they would create XML3 but it turned out to be a Spider-Man game.

Not exactly. I mean, Spider-Man is like Nr. 1 Popular character, so he gets all kinds of games anyway. Lets hope they were talking about XML3 and they need lots of years for developing, cause it would be so freakin' amazing, that it would have everything, we need :D
Actually on Hero Hq they hinted that they would release a game that everyone was waiting for. Most people that it was XML3 but then the Spider-Man game was announced so that is what they were talking about. Hopefully they see that lots of people are supporting XML3. I'd love to see MUA2's amazing graphics and fusion system in XML3. But you are right about the lots of time for developing. I'm kinda hoping they are working on it right now and it's just a secret.

I think everyone was hoping it would be an X-Men game but then the Spider-Man game was announced and it turned out that they were talking about Spider-Man.

Based on the fan base of Jean i think she will always have a spot in the roster as well as storm. Idk about iceman but if Hellion does appear in xml3 I WILL EAT A BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or at least finally eat fish for ever meal straight for 1 month!

Thought of another important point for me... Don't make it follow a comic book arc. Devs get too tied down when they try to recreate the story in a video game. Oddly enough that was one of my favorite points about MUA2 (the Civil War), but the fact is that you take away a lot of freedoms from the player. I couldn't play as Cap and Iron Man together for a good portion of my game, and that brought it down a bit. If they want to take inspiration from comics (like Marvel Zombies!) that's fine, but I hope they don't tie themselves down too much.

I hope for no Marvel zombies. I wouldn't get too excited about my favourite characters getting eaten. If someone wants zombies fight non-zombies, there's Left 4 Dead (2). For a Marvel game, it should have the normal heroes and all. Especially for people, who doesn't really know the Marvel Zombies stuff.
Oh damn...i hope when MUA 3 will be released, MUA 2 will be port on PC from PS2 (Xbox360's version my pc will not support). Anyway, i hope that in future PC will get MUA 3 with exclusives!
I don't really like exclusives. I mean, some people could get what they want and others don't and it's unfair, because the game is the same (normally). They should make a decent game, with everything what we said, without any DLCs or platform specific exclusive stuff.
they make DLC's so for example if MUA 3 came out and no one bought it then they figure if they make uhh Emma Frost and Cyclops DLC sure as hell people will by it more cause those are fan favorites I will even buy it but they should make DLC for all systems like for ps2 if you bought emma for DLC all you have to do in the Main menu is type in a code then she's unlocked
