There was a Venom in the Quad Mod way earlier back, but this one looks way better! And Venom was available in the DLC content along with Magneto, Hawkeye, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Sabretooth, Hulk, and Doom.

The game crashes because you used incompatible boltons, which ended up in version 1.0 by mistake. In the future I may get round to fixing this problem, but it is low on my priority list.

Seems it's the version 1.5 powerstyle, I changed the power entries for the grabsmash and power 3, I think, to those on the 1.1 version to keep it from crashing.Thanks for the precise info, it should be fixed now. I encourage everyone to download :)
When I try to activate Venom's claw power the game crashes. Is there a way to fix this?In the latest version (1.51) all of Venom's moves work like they should on my machine. All I can suggest is that you remove all traces of previous versions, with emphasis on deleting all venom claws from your game bolton folder.

I love that McChicken ooops Farlane Venom it's a classic. Small teeth, almost normal tongue, darker colour.
- Also another minor issue: I cannot see the symbiote now when I use the throwing power.

- I seem to have problem with sounds, I cannot hear Venom's websling or his voice. The voice sometimes comes up some others he's just quiet.I'm afraid that there is not much I can do about this. As we don't have proper sounds for Venom, I used some of XML2 Juggernout's in their place. Or rather WE used them (me + my brother) :venom: .
I would like to see a more black-ish first skin ala Venom's first appearances, a darker blue, sea blue if you know what I mean...Thanks, I'll try it later. Nevertheless, the darker the texture, the more detail it loses ingame, that's why I had increased its lightness a little bit.

I think Venom Thrust is ok for both of us... It's Venom Heave and Venom Swing for me... They are missing a tendril. I haven't been able to see it even before Dark Mark release the Venom models... lolThis further proves that the problem is on your side. However, I have just spent a couple of hours checking powerstyles, packages, talent files etc. and I've made sure that all necessary effects and textures are in my mod. If you reinstall it from scratch, everything should work for you. :)

did u change the "menulocation = XX ;"...Thanks for the help but I'm having problems compiling the xml file in xmlb. I don't no what happens I have a herostat.xml file where I replaced ronin with venom and I change the menulocation but when I try recompile this nothing happens.

move the original herostat.engb to the desktop and decompile it there and then compile it in the .../data folder
hey guys i cant find herostat.engb in the data folder of venom the only thing there are this things in the data folder: boltonactoranims.xml,boltonactoranims.xmlb,entities,powerstyles,fightstyles,talents,herostat,herostat.txt,boltonactoranims.xmlb.bak,herostat.xml and herostat.xmlbBecause it doesn't exist take a look in this tutorial and read the read me in the venom mod
Mark if you don't mind I'd love it if you could share skin 01 offset so that I can make it a tad darker, if there is no problem and only if you won't be doing it in a near future.

Also I want to restore Juggernauts sounds for voice... I think I could do that with 1.01 version files right?Powers haven't changed much since 1.01 (most important change being the voices), so I see no problem.

Probably a missing texture, or an inadvertently mislabeled effect in the ps file (I never used the ps from this mod, so I wouldn't know)
Iammingy is working on the skins. They aren't released to the public yet.
- Completely new tongue and mannequin
- Improved Ultimates' textures (as suggested by the master$$$)
- Fixed most animation problems
- New unique sounds for all powers (xtreme still needs some work though)
- New unique sounds for most voices (not many alternate sounds though)
- Sound bugs in the powerset are now fixed.
- Will now banter with Spider-Man if present in team
Dark_Mark Venom 3.0 is great love the model,as you said you won't be updating anytime soon I hope that you think of other Marvel villains to bring to life.Believe me, I would love to make more models of great characters (not only villains), but I really have to study for the high school exams coming in spring. Until then I will hardly have time for releasing some mannequins, let alone any new models.

what are these "banter" sounds? i mean, i've listened to them using the zss extractor, but i'v NEVER heard them in the game! when am i supposed to hear them? could it be because my game is in another language?
(ps. the audio wasn't translated, the game uses the original voices but with translated subtitles)
Oh hey, Dark_Mark -- I just bought a new hard drive and didn't think to save my Goldwave settings for the Xtreme yell. But I'll re-configure it once I get it installed, extract your Xtreme call, and apply the filter. After that I'll upload the fixed ZSS and share the filter settings.Duh. I didn't have much time to work on sounds lately, so I didn't bother you for the settings (Perhaps I should have ? :P ). Anyway, I didn't include the new Xtreme in the package since it requires the filter to make it sound right (I mean to mask some of its shortcomings that way :P ). I would be thankful if you could PM me the filter settings when you restore them.

Updated! I've just realized that the previous version did not include the new tongue! :runaway: :banghead: I'm amazed nobody noticed this though. Please tell me what you think about the one in this version.
I've also added the X-Box meshes. Note that I do not own an X-Box, so I can't be 100% sure if they work correctly.
well, the meshes freezed the game, most likely, because the texture are 1024x1024, and the mannequins didn't freezed the game, but they are invisible.That's strange. I am absolutely sure that I resized all the textures so that none was larger than 512x512 and changed them to DXT3 :scratchhead: Maybe the models are too complex?
I'm still thinking it's the default export settings that matter.

A thin models & a little scale_factor. Oh god. Should resize into 1.3, is it big or still little. & exactly why i hate thin models, non top of my favorite Venom Models, bulky models RULE.
Added voiceovers for Venom-Mysterio and Venom-Rhino conversations.
Fixed the issue with Arcade's androids not copying Venom's models.
Added new voices captured by Teancum.
Made the mod fully compatible with Official Characters 1.0 (no need to backup anything when installing the mod).
- Modified Thunderbolts model (added tail, improved head and texture).
- New icon for Thunderbolts skin.
