The thing is simple, reinstall the game (painful task, I know) and make sure you install the game in the original folder it should be (Program Files\Activision\Marvel - Ultimate Alliance)

*Note: If you have a portable version just create the folders and send the installed (or decompressed) files to the Marvel - Ultimate Alliance folder  (in case you have the files into another folder just change the name for Marvel - Ultimate Alliance and replace the folder with the same name)

Then follow the steps to install the mods. Hope I could help.

Hi, I'm having trouble with cyclops' Optic Stream power. When I change his damage output by using XMLBCUI with the files in the talent folder, it doesn't reflect in-game. I set his level 1 damage as 1-2, but in the game, it still does the same damage as the default settings(16-17). I've also noticed this issue with other powers that involve holding down the button, such as Torch's flamethrower and Havok's copy cat ability.

Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix this?

do u guys know how to play this mod in my ps2 console? plss i really want to play this game..but my pc cant handle it so i was hoping if u could tell me how to download this so it would be playable for my ps2

I don't know if its just me but i downloaded and installed the new Official Characters and the games seems to have slight pauses every so often like it gets stuck.
Sorry but that is the only way i can describe it.
Any thoughts on why this might be would be appreciated

Is it with every character or with specific characters?

Hi I thought i solved the problem with the game pausing and not running smoothly by turning off the caps lock, but no something is wrong when i downloaded 1.3.
I will try downloading 1.2 instead to see if that works.If anyone knows why it keeps pausing it would be good to know.

Hey guys. Downloaded the recent release a couple weeks ago and I noticed that when I use Cyclops' Rapid-tap optic blast power, the beams aren't appearing. He's shooting invisible streams. :/

Any ideas on how to fix that?

Right, well I figured out that it was because his Ricochet Blast entity is absent from his entities file. And the one in there is for a power he doesn't have...

Is the "cyclops_pylon" entity supposed to be the Ricochet blast enitity? Or is the ricochet enitity just completely absent? And how can I go about getting the entity code for it?

Mod's been working great for me, so have a moment of thanks; I can't imagine how much work it must have been to convert all those files for PC and then work out the bugs. Noticed a few points, though - just little things, more story than gameplay, but maybe it's worth a look at? I'm not sure if it's just me, or if it's 1.3 for everyone, but neither  :cyclops: nor  :nightcrawler: triggers any dialogue with  :phoenix: during Murderworld like in the Xbox; again, I don't know if I missed something, or if the lines weren't converted. Also, some of  :venom: 's dialogue differs between the audio we hear and the text in the box (I remember he referred to himself in the plural - "we" - while talking to  :rhino: in the text box, but speaks in singular - "I" - in the audio.

It's hardly vital, and probably already noted before I mention it, but it's slightly head-tilting if one is trying to discover all the conversations.
