Yeah, so I just got this for Xbox the other day.  I'm pretty disappointed.  They basically modeled the characters however they wanted with no real attention to accuracy.  The camera control is downright terrible, often clipping rather than moving to allow action to be seen.  It's decent, sure.  But the X-Men franchise has amazing potential in the fighter genre and it basically got jipped by being done half-way rather than with the spit-and-polish a fighting game deserves.

So rent it if you like fighting games.  Don't buy it.

It's an indirect sequel to the Mutant Academy games.  They tried to make an X-Men version of Dead or Alive and their execution was horrible.  The loading was slow, the graphics blew, and the controls were extremely sluggish compared to the great Mutant Academy games.
