Yep, that was the pic I was thinking of; it's the best shot of both of them. They do appear on the covers of Ultimates #7 and #9, which I've scanned, along with a regular Hawkeye, a Mar-Vell, and an Iron Fist (in case you felt like making one for Ronin's fourth pic, as I'm using the Iron fist skin for her...  ).

This fixes the mip issue for all the previously upped files, except for 20104 (Black Widow Classic -- I've found a better pic to do it with, so it will be replaced in the next pak); BUT it adds a pic for 20303 (WCA Hawkeye) based on his art from the Marvel Masterpieces series.

Some of the resulting pics are mirrored from their original appearance in the comics, but that doesn't really detract from the enjoyment you are supposed to get out of them. Nuh-uh.

It occurred to me that the portrait images could actually be IMPROVED...why not replace them ALL in the game with some sweet BUST SHOTS?

Mine? Just unpack them into your HUD folder in the game's directory. If you have the complete PSP mod (see the Hawkeye how-to threads for instructions on THAT) installed, they should automatically be used by the game. This, of course, excludes the Moon Knight portraits (which require the Moon Knight/Colossus mod to be installed) and the Deadpool one, which works in any case.
It would also be prudent to back up hud_head_1702.igb (the incorrect, but official, Dead Man Wade portrait foolishly used in conjuction with Ultimate Deadpool's outfit) before you do anything.

Only if the contrast of the pictures is okay, which automatically rules out the Black Widow one you suggested (sorry). And I've already got neat Punisher art laid aside for later use, once we get to crossing THAT bridge. Can show it to prove it's good enough Same goes for Iron Fist and Vision while we're at it.

Here's an update.
Captain Marvel's classic (20203), Iron Fist, and two for the XML2 projekt, featuring Modern Gambit and AoA Cyclops. Yay.

Of these, only Cyke is based on comic art ("Tales from AoA feat. Factor X"), the other three are from the busts and statues pics on the site Kenn suggested.

I put the Hawkeye ones in and I get a CTD.oh well...at least I have hawkeye working now!

Are you sure you get a CTD because of my files you got from this here thread or because you just installed the mod pieces?

actually, this was after I had done the Hawkeye mod and played a bit. But I may have messed up with the HUD's...Lemme go and check again.
