Or just hold ALT actually, I was holding both Ctrl+Alt, but I believe it works with only ALT, I'm a dummy. xD
No snap-to-grid mode doesn't work with Doors and Windows btw, only objects (including plants from build mode)

Also this cheat: DisableSnappingToSlotsonAlt on
It's supposed to disable objects snapping to others while using the no-snap-to-grid mode. (example: Counters snapping onto other counters, or chairs snapping onto tables)

I know that if you use the testingcheatsenabled true cheat, I believe, it also makes it so you can move things where ever you want. Although it may be a secondary cheat that you enter after the testingcheatsenabled one.

Although it gets a bit risk to use that way because you can place things literally where ever, so you could have a bed half inside, half outside with a wall in between it.

The cheat does allow you to move people tho, so if they get glitched or aren't moving and blocking peoples paths you can move them, But if you want to kill people, you can make them go swimming, then pick them up out of the pool and drop them anywhere on land and they will glitch and remain swimming even though they aren't in the water. Eventually they will drown having no way to get out of the not-pool.

Yeah that's the moveobjects cheat, it doesn't need testingcheatsenabled though. I use it somewhat all the time.
I use it also when making my own Dive lots.

Most of those Expansions sound good, although I really hope they do something with the weather and disasters one. I always thought they should add in things like Tornados, or Hurricanes, etc.

I'm hoping for an expansion similar to The Sims Vacation and The Sims 2 Bon Voyage, I just really liked the vacation atmosphere of it all.
I mean World Adventures was cool cuz you could visit all those neat locations (I really like Egypt), but it kinda lacked that vacation feel.

But you know what I'm hoping for the most? A superhero expansion.
Like the life state there would be something like a mutant or superhuman, and there would be different powers like Elemental manipulation, Telepathy, Telekinesis, Flight, Teleportation and stuff like that.
And your Sims can have secret identities, and there would be opportunity-like missions, such as (obviously) saving people.

Also something else, if they re-add vampires, witches, fairies and stuff like that, I hope they can hide their abilities. So when a normal Sim sees a witch performing magic, they would be like shocked or something, and not act like it's totally normal.
So basically secret keeping. :P

I agree with all of that.

World Adventures really did lack the Vacation feeling, it was just like going to another town. They should have resorts or something that gave off a more Vacation feel.

The Superhero idea is a very good one, and it could be another life state. And I do agree that you should be able to hide the abilities. I wasn't the biggest fan of how mermaids had scales even as humans, they could of just had normal legs, with fairies they could let you hide the wings unless otherwise stated by the user. I really hope they do something like the Supernatural expansion though, because it was one of my favorites. Maybe they could include more life states, or put in other ones not before select-able in the CAS.

Yup, and this time if they re-add mermaids (and underwater lots), I hope the underwater lots are more interesting and have more to offer.
Like maybe building an underwater mermaid home, where they can satisfy all their needs, because honestly I find it kinda silly that in TS3, to satisfy most of their needs, mermaids have to be on land.... like....mermaids aren't land creatures. xD
And also maybe growing legs could be something a mermaid could unlock, instead of having it from the start.
Like I don't know?! ... selling your soul to a sea witch or something. I just want to live out my Ariel fantasies in peace. @_@ xD lol

I hope they have more to things for a seasons expansion pack such as allowing grass to grow and cutting grass in the Summer and Spring. Also make the holidays more "alive". I felt like the Sims act like the holidays was like another day and how on Spooky day the kids and teens still have curfew so they really cant go trick or treating for the whole night. Really they have up to 8 or 9pm. Also when they have a late night expansion pack they should make the clubs and bars more "alive" also because there are hardly anybody in there.

And another thing I really think the Sims 3 sucked I would rather play TS2 than TS3. I think TS3 lacked a lot of social interactions, which the TS2 had more of and just making the world alive and fun. Not having 2 or 3 Sims at a park or beach.

In my opinion.

I totally agree with you.
Grass growing would be so neat, and it would just add this nice little touch that would make the game feel more alive.
And seeing as bars and clubs will be in the base game, I doubt they'll have a Nightlife/Late Night expansion. ;)
Plus the mixology skill is also in the base game, so let's see how well they handle those two features. :P
And yeah, the social interaction in TS3 compared to TS2 felt a little...bland. Let's hope this 'emotions' thing breathes life into the Sims and the simulation itself.

Grass growing would be awesome! It would give a more realistic feeling to the game.

And I agree, the underwater areas in the Sims 3 were really boring. There was hardly anything down there, and I only ever found one other mermaid. I feel like it needed to be more lively, and maybe have an underwater kingdom or something.

The name of the second world is Oasis Springs.

QuoteYour Sims can build their home in the middle of a desert

The Sims 4 will have another environment to compliment the lush Willow Creek neighborhood, and this one’s more on the parched side. The recently unveiled Oasis Springs district is set in the middle of an arid desert, and has the look of suburban Las Vegas.

This locale is filled with desert-themed charm, complete with set-pieces like cactuses and shed-sized air conditioners (and is that a Western-motif diner I see in the background?). You can still build lovely homesteads with plenty of modern comforts. You’ll likely have tons of fun in this…wellspring? Fountain? Watering hole? It’s right on the tip of my tongue…

Via SimsVIP

I love it! I really like the fact that they are giving us to worlds in TS4 base game. This means if i get bored playing in Willow Creek at least they are giving me another world to play in.

To me Oasis Springs is like Lucky Palms, which is an purchasable world in TS3. I say that because they are both in the desert and they are both compared to Las Vegas. Oasis Springs to me is a improved world based off of Lucky Palms.

And it is really interesting that they named the world after Oasis Landings, which is in TS3 that comes with Into the Future. They both have water in the world which oasis means a fertile spot in a desert where water is found.

:storm:

My personal name for Oasis Springs was Citrine Canyon (or Citrine Valley, couldn't decide xD)

Another thing I love about the Sims 4 is the food. For some strange reason the food in TS4 looks more detailed than TS3. The producers  made it look more appetizing . I don't know just my opinion. :storm:
