Blink Mod Conversion v1.07 by Dihan

Get it here.

Overwrite every file from previous versions just in case.

Includes:
- 6 Skins and HUDs
- Passives for four costumes
- Unique icons, character banner
- A unique Xtreme
- A load screen
- A mannequin

Skins:

Xtreme:



Powers: Blue = Offensive, Red = Boost, Green = Xtreme, Orange = Other.
Javelin Blitz Multiple javelin projectile attack.
Blink Teleport to hard to reach locations or escape from combat.
Javelin Stab A powerful javelin stab that inflicts physical damage.
Blink Attack Teleport and perform a boosted melee attack.
Blinking Frenzy Rapidly teleports to attack multiple targets, stunning them.
Blink Out Throws a javelin at a target causing major knock back, with a chance to teleport the victim out
Blinking Shield Chance to block all incoming attacks.
Spatial Charge Entire party takes less energy damage for a time and temporarily adds energy damage to all powers.
Blink of an Eye Blink opens up a portal which fires out a spread of javelins in a radius. On contact with anything, the javelins open up more portals and proceed to blink out whatever was hit.

Needs
- Fixes to any bugs that are found.

- Repackaged with the files I use, and know work

- Added a load screen by Shafcrawler
- Fixed landing animation after using a jump teleport
- Menu animations now work properly

Seriously though, the effects are looking awesome in MUA, as well as the skins. I've just gotten MUA for PC, and If I can run it using my new system, I'll most definitely give this a try!

Dihan, have you converted the skins to MUA format(as in doing the channel swap and stuff)? I've just noticed that the areas on the skin that should be bright pink look violet in your screenies.

Wolfsbane is nearly done - I only started on it this morning!

I just need to do the passives for the one costume and get a missing sound file that comes with XML2. Then I can release it. I also need a mannequin, but that can wait for a bit.

My artistic skills may be good enough for icons but I can not for the life of me get my head around skinning, so the other three costumes will have to either wait or be done for me. This also means there won't be a loading screen for the moment.

There are a few minor visual glitches though, such as when Rahne is moving around the base her skin changes but her animations don't, so she ends up being a wolf walking on her hind legs. There are also similar problems when picking stuff up, but that only occurs if you don't stop before picking them up.

Anyway, Wolfsbane v1.1 will probably be released by tomorrow night. After a bit of a rest I think I'll take another go at Husk.

On an unrelated note, I've made a few conversions of Shafcrawler's skins, along with HUDs and packages for my own personal use. But if Shafcrawler allows me to, I can release them as alternate skins for him. That's up to him, of course but seeing as he's just got MUA he'll probably want to do it himself. :P

im so happy your converting Wolfsbane, i think she's one of the funnest mods to play with.

thats weird, in xml2 in the bases she runs on all four but her skin doesnt change. so its a human running like a dog.  About being a wolf when she lifts stuff, you could look for the entry in shared_nodes for picking up stuff, put it in her powerstyle and add the line to turn off wolf form.  that way whenver she picks up something she is automatically human.

and about the skins, i would suggest if anyone does any skins for her they use a base with short hair (like the one skin she has now), since her main skeleton is male and her second skeleton is non-human and long her will probably stick through her body.

In MUA, all characters get forced to stand up straight in the base... I really look forward to seeing Atlantis with Wolfsbane >.>

The "no long hair" limitation ruins her Age of Apocalypse prospects.

Ok, it just looks odd. Where would I find the swimming and base walking entries so I can add them to the fightstyle?

Go right ahead and release the skins you converted if you like. I'm in no hurry to start Modding MUA as I'm going through a very busy phase.

Ok thanks.

I've noticed that Nightcrawler runs on all fours when inside the base, how do I control this? Or conversely, where can I find the entry for the normal one so I can set it to use just the human skin? I'm assuming it's different because the animations are different.

Also, where do I find the swimming entry?
