'This is the story of a man named Stanley. Stanley worked for a company in a big building where he was Employee Number 427...'

'Wait, what's going on here? Stanley, are you seeing this? Is that a combat robot... Oh god Stanley, we're doomed. I'll try to restart the game and...'

'Hmm, nope... It looks like something is disrupting my story from playing out correctly in any capacity. Hmm, what are we going to do?'

But Stanley knew there was only one way he would get out of this situation alive and put all his willpower into his fighting reflexes.

'Wow Stanley, I didn't know you had it in you. Haha, that stupid robot didn't know what hit it!'

'Now, let's try and investigate around the office and see where this story goes... Ooh, is that a dimensional portal in the middle of the next room? Not exactly what I had in mind for the story, but I can tolerate a few rewrites here and there...'

'Goodness, there seems to be a whole host of empowered beings and creatures engaging in a fight on board... some kind of mobile base on the other side, against... robots? But why would a portal to this alternate dimension spawn within the Stanley Parable? Don't they realize the huge risk of copyright infringement...'

It was then however that the narrator gained a sudden realization on this new reality he couldn't have possibly known yet inexplicably did. This world was designated Earth-7150 and was seemingly a passion-fuelled community product designed by many internet nerds on Earth-1218 who brought their overall desires to life within a comparatively ancient video game called Marvel Ultimate Alliance, telling their own collective story as to why all these heroes and villains from across the omniverse were working together to achieve a common goal.

'How utterly ridiculous', the narrator spouted out, unaware of someone else speaking his inner thoughts, much like he did constantly with the inexplicably mute Stanley. 'Don't these people have anything better to do with their time, beyond ignoring controversial, fictional stories and events crafted by writers who put their heart and soul into the tales they write, solely because they feel it disrespected their favourites or they wished to see the well-concluded stories of others continue against the intention of their creators? I mean, really...'

'Oh.' the narrator quickly realized. 'This must mean that one of these strangely gifted nerds might be subconsciously reaching out to our game without them even knowing and wants us to join in on the fun too... Oh, how exciting!'

Clearing his throat, the narrator stated, 'Alright Stanley. I've had a fair bit of time to think about it... I've decided we should head through the portal and see where this unexplored narrative takes us. Quickly Stanley, the time for opportunity is fading!'

Deciding to take a chance, Stanley rushed to pick up his loyal friend, a simple bucket, from off a desk nearby, before leaping into the portal as he knew no more, the disembodied narrator pulled in with him whether they liked it or not...

-Abilities of flight (a nod to the Stanley Parable's Mariella ending) & 100% resurrection except for bottomless pits (The Stanley Parable narrator refuses to have his story on Earth-7150 ruined)
-2 hex-edited skins, HUDs, loading screen, icons and voice/sound file using archived audio of Kevan Brighting's voice for the Narrator from the Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe.
-Uses assigned number #87 (will clash with Black Bolt and Spider-Gwen in mannequin).

DISCLAIMER: This mod uses a good chunk of music from the Stanley Parable game. I take no credit for the use of it.

BLOCK COMBO (Bored Narrator)- Press Block + Jump to have the Stanley Parable narrator say a random line to lighten the mood.

1. Confusing Enigma: As a reference to the Elevator & Confusion endings of the Stanley Parable, Stanley's inconsistent actions causes the Marvel Ultimate Alliance code to freak out, an inexplicable radial blast of psychic energy generated from within Stanley as damage is dealt to surrounding foes.
2. Heartless Worker: As a reference to the Games ending in the Stanley Parable, Stanley inexplicably generates fire underneath enemies, sending them flying into the air.
3. Facility Explosives: The Narrator plays around with unseen assets pulled from the Stanley Parable game, raining explosives from the Countdown ending upon enemies via simple commands as fire damage is dealt.
4. (Debuff) Narrative Contradiction: As a reference to the Not Stanley ending within the Stanley Parable, Stanley's inconsistent actions cause enemies to run away in fear of his unstable power.
5. (Boost) Zending: Attaining a sense of inner calm, Stanley temporarily boosts stats and reduces energy cost for entire team as a random theme from the Stanley Parable plays for a minute.
6. (Boost) Reassurance Bucket: Stanley pulls out his only friend, the Stanley Parable Reassurance Bucket, for comfort as damage taken is lowered and overall resistance is increased for entire team.
7. (Boost) Adventure Line: Stanley generates a seemingly sentient yellow line behind him as the Adventure Line's music plays for 43 seconds, increasing overall attack damage and speed for entire team.
8. (Xtreme) Skip Button: Having gotten fed up with enemies constantly disrupting his story, the Narrator convinces Stanley to press a hidden, portable version of the Skip Button attached to his wrist, the environment briefly going black as all enemies on-screen are instantly killed.

Taking place not too long after the events of the Conqueror Worm comic arc within Hellboy's line of stories, Hellboy has recently parted ways with his colleagues within the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD), in order to learn more about his place in the world on his own terms.

Originally brought to Earth by crazed Nazi occultists during the final years of the second World War, the child-like demon with a mysteriously disproportionate 'Right Hand of Doom' (who's true name of Anung Un Rama he would not learn of for decades), was fortunately uncovered by the Allied Forces first and was christened the name of 'Hellboy' by his adoptive father, Professor Trevor Bruttenholm.

From then on, Hellboy grew into an immortal but well-meaning occult detective with an iron wit and a heart of gold, honoring his stepfather's tragic passing at the hands of Lovecraftian frog monsters decades later by continuing to fight demons and monsters as a protector of humanity, no matter how many times he's reminded of being its doomed, prophesied destroyer by those he ends up fighting.

Wandering the jungles of Africa, he suddenly finds himself witnessing an army of demons rush out of a random portal and heading right for him.

Being quick on his feet, he lifts up a giant tree from its roots and charges forward as he forces the vast majority of demons back where they came from, regrettably falling through himself as he awoke unknowingly on Earth-7150 within the realm of Mephisto as the portal closed behind him, dimensional tears happening across the multiverse constantly as Doctor Doom's abuse of Odin's power in a future timeline, threatened to tear all of existence apart.

But Mephisto would underestimate this strange new demon that had arrived in his realm as Hellboy fought tooth and nail to escape from his forces, eventually finding another portal back to what he presumed was home, unaware of the new reality he had unexpectedly been displaced to...

Very awesome! I love Hellboy!

I don't think I ever said it anywhere, but Injustice 2 has my favorite selection of guest characters in all of (official) fighting games; Sub-Zero, Raiden (both my top two favorite Mortal Kombat characters), Hellboy, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, all in a game with the DC universe (many good Batman and Teen Titans characters, Swamp Thing, etc.). There's a peculiar thrill I'm feeling at all of those same guest characters now being available in MUA thanks to you! Keep up the awesome work!

Originating from Earth-400083, this version of Bruce Banner went through a less than ideal childhood as his father, David Banner, frequently experimented on himself as part of his genetics research in attempts to improve human DNA.

His wife eventually giving birth to Bruce, David was horrified to discover that his mutated DNA had been passed on to Bruce and did what he could to create a cure (before Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross uncovered what David had been doing and ordered that his experiments be shut down by order of the American government).

Losing himself to his own rage, David sabotaged the military facility's gamma reactor and accidentally killed his wife, Bruce being adopted.

Years later, Bruce would grow up into a brilliant scientific genius who rarely expressed his emotions outward as a result of repressed childhood memories that frequently manifested as quickly forgotten but nevertheless terrifying nightmares.

Working on a custom-built device known as a 'Gammasphere' which relied on medical nanotechnology triggered by gamma radiation in order to regenerate living tissue and ideally save an irradiated individual from radiation poisoning, this would ultimately lead to the birth of another side of Bruce as he saved his colleague, Harper, from being caught in the accidentally released blast of the Gammasphere during a planned test.

Miraculously surviving a full bombardment from the Gammasphere in ways no-one else had (thanks to Bruce's already altered DNA), he would soon transform for the first time into the Hulk of his reality during the middle of the night after being confronted by his father for the first time in years.

Ultimately, Bruce would unwillingly find himself pulled into battle with the American military's forces several times as well as facing his own father, now newly obsessed with gaining that power for himself, as David recklessly exposed himself under the same conditions that caused Bruce's awakened power of the Hulk, gaining the ability to meld with and absorb the inherent properties of anything he comes into contact with.

Left with no other option, Bruce and the Hulk briefly put their differences aside and worked together to destroy their far more monstrous father once and for all, generating enough gamma radiation that proved too much for David to handle in its limitless output (as David's very being was finally destroyed by a missile bound straight for them).

Surviving the battle but believed dead, Bruce would go into hiding for a year in South America within the depths of the Amazon rainforest as a medical doctor who did what he could for the vulnerable or injured who came across his path.

But this was not to last as Bruce would soon return to the United States through a phone call from his former mentor, Geoffrey Crawford, having finally come up with a proclaimed cure to Bruce's condition known as the Gamma Orb.

Sneaking into his lab while avoiding the rummaging military forces, this would tragically turn out to be a deceitful trick by Crawford as he used the Orb to drain a good chunk of Gamma energy from Bruce's body and interacted with it to transform himself into a Hulk-like form known as Ravage with similar capabilities to Bruce's own, Crawford now being able to walk again for the first time in years.

Enraged at the betrayal, Bruce transformed into the Hulk for the first time in a long time and pursued Ravage across the rooftops and sewers of San Francisco, fighting off the newly pursuing military as well as several other Gamma-powered beings who fruitlessly attempted to stop the Hulk in his tracks.

Learning of what Crawford was planning to do with his stolen gamma energy, Bruce would uncover information of a mysterious Gamma-powered individual known only as the Leader, who had grand plans of using the Gamma orb to create an army of gamma-powered warriors.

Not wishing to have anyone else bare the burden of his genetic curse, Bruce would eventually arrive at the secret underground Freehold base hidden underneath Alcatraz Island after escaping from the military's clutches once more and fought his way through the Leader's forces as the Hulk.

Expecting this well ahead of time, the Leader tricked the Hulk as he threw an activated Gamma orb at him, successfully absorbing the rest of the core gamma radiation within Bruce's body as he was now free of the Hulk at last.

Refusing to give up, Bruce did what he could to stay on top of the Leader's vast gamma-powered talents, quickly gaining back access to the Hulk and accepting his new existence completely as he swiftly defeated the Leader for the time being, the humiliated villain taunting Hulk that this would not be the last time they would be seeing each other.

Escaping Freehold just in the nick of time as it began to collapse from all the chaos enacted previously during Hulk's battle against the Leader, Bruce found himself alone once more in the deserts of New Mexico as he attempted to hitchhike, before giving up on the idea as he headed off into the sunset.

Unexpectedly, Bruce found himself caught in the middle of multiversal instability as dimensional tears across time and space started to make their presence known across every reality, strange human-like robots flying out of them and heading right for him.

Having no choice, Bruce willingly transformed into the Hulk again under duress as he escaped from a large swarm of the strange robots which had attempted to trap Banner beneath their combined weight, as the Hulk proceeded to leap into one of the dimensional tears, unaware of what sort of destination him and Banner would end up in this time with their escape, as the tears soon corrected themselves with his departure from their original universe...

Very cool!

I always thought this version of the Hulk was pretty underrated. I thought it was interesting how the MCU's 2008 Incredible Hulk could be interpreted as a 'requel' - both a remake and a sequel - with just enough ambiguity that either or both could be true.

Since then, Usagi has had to manage her newfound responsibilities as a protector of the world against the opposing Dark Kingdom alongside school and family life, quickly meeting new allies who would join her in defending the world as well as numerous villains who sought to destroy the world.

However, none of her previous adventures could entirely prepare her for what came next as strange dimensional portals started to pop up all throughout Japan and unleashed all sorts of unfamiliar creatures upon its citizens.

Existing long before Johnny Storm would take up his superhero codename for himself, the android that would later go by Jim Hammond was created in 1939 within the laboratory of Professor Phineas Horton.

A pioneer in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, Horton's research gave Jim the capability to mimic all of the functions of a normal human (including independent thought), in spite of being composed entirely of synthetic materials.

Being capable of bursting into flame at will and utilizing it in a variety of ways, Jim took up the 'Defender' codename of the Human Torch accidentally provided to him during an accident involving his solar power cells and served as a champion of justice throughout the Second World War.

However, Jim's tenure as the Human Torch would come to an end for several decades as he found himself caught in the blast of an atomic bomb during a mission in the early 1950s, losing control of his flames over time as it began to irradiate harmful levels of radiation that would prove deadly to humanity if left unchecked and selflessly sacrificed himself by burning out his power cells under the grounds of the American southwest desert to deactivate his android body.

Discovered in the modern day by the criminal genius known as the Mad Thinker, much of Jim's android body would be restored to proper condition by him in the hopes of getting back at the Fantastic Four.

But Jim was no fool and upon realizing the implications of his potential actions, worked with the Fantastic Four to put a stop to the Mad Thinker's latest scheme.

Now stuck in an era of time unfamiliar to what he left behind as a result of his loved ones largely being long dead, Jim Hammond felt incredibly isolated on Earth and ventured across the world for a renewed sense of purpose.

Learning the original Human Torch was alive again, Steve Rogers would take an Avengers quinjet with the Vision to Jim's last recorded location and met up with him, the two doing what they could to help Jim through adjusting to the modern world.

Appreciative for the support, Jim would eventually join the Avengers and fought alongside his new comrades-in-arms on many adventures, in order to maintain established peaceful relations throughout the universe.

Contacted by Tony Stark for a mission of grave importance that required all hands on deck against the rising Masters of Evil group under the leadership of Doctor Doom, Jim coated himself in flame once more as he took to the skies and flew off for Stark Tower...

A unique lycanthrope affected by the planet Mars as a result of an ancient Roman curse placed upon his family's bloodline, Vic Marcus has had to go through a lot in life to get what he wants (being able to shift between human and werewolf form at will, no matter what time of day it is).

Eventually brought into SHIELD's ranks as an overseeing squad leader for its newly formed Howling Commandos division, he takes this responsibility in his stride as he leads the team through many successful missions against more supernatural threats that SHIELD itself can't easily take on.

But this time however, the Howling Commandos is needed against a far more major threat than anything else it has faced before, Nick Fury letting them in on the stolen SHIELD plans involving Asgard by Doctor Doom and how important it is that the Masters of Evil be stopped at all costs to prevent a major existential wipeout from occurring across the entire multiverse.

Understanding the severity, Warwolf ordered his colleagues to work with the less-informed strike force consisting of primarily superheroes, temporarily aligned villains and dimensionally-displaced beings from across countless realities, in order to ensure Doctor Doom's twisted plans never end up coming to fruition.

Man, what a cool character!!! I love when you introduce me to cool new corners of the Marvel universe I've never heard of before!

The main protagonist of the tenth main entry in the Final Fantasy series, Tidus was the 17 year old son of the biggest blitzball star within the vast city of Zanarkand, Jecht (who strangely disappeared without a trace ten years prior).

Desiring to surpass his father and prove to himself that he's the best blitzball player around as the captain of the Zanarkand Abes blitzball team, Tidus selfishly relished in his celebrity status and went off to play the latest game of Blitzball against a rival team, blissfully unaware of the events to come.

But when a mysterious monolithic creature simply called 'Sin' arrived in Zanarkand out of nowhere to attack the city, Tidus was left with no other choice but to follow an old friend of his father's, Auron, to parts unknown as the two fought off many dangerous 'fiends' which stood in their way, ultimately being whisked away to the land of Spira as Sin seemingly wiped away what was left of Zanarkand in a single stroke.

Wanting to return home no matter the cost, Tidus fought tooth and nail to survive as he found himself encountering an assortment of interesting people along the way, eventually meeting and gaining the attention of Besaid Island's latest summoner, Yuna.

Learning that Yuna's pilgrimage included visiting Zanarkand (now inexplicably considered a sacred site), he would come to tag along with Yuna and her group of guardians as he gradually grew into a more selfless and heroic person over the course of his long journey, gaining mutual respect from his fellow party members over time.

Discovering in the end that his hopes for returning to the Zanarkand he had previously known was all for nought, Tidus nobly choose to stand by his friends' side to the very end (ultimately defeating Sin at the price of his own continued existence within Spira, much to great heartbreak from his allies as they could only watch him move onto the next life).

Now finding himself in another world entirely different to the one he left behind, Tidus realizes his story is not quite over yet as he prepares to resume fighting for the sake of a better continued existence for everyone else...
