Yes they do have characters you have to unlock threw out the game, Akuma and Taskmaster I know, and for the taking out characters, there is really no use for it, really if you dont like them dont play as them, thats how I think about it!

I really hope Elektra will make it in because she is one of my favs. She would make more sense with the Hand stage than Wolverine. If she is free that would be awesome. Aren't Shuma-Gorath and Jill already free if you preorder the special edition? Or do you mean that after the game comes out they will be able to be downloaded free whether or not you got the code.

I sure hope they are DLC, I like Elektra, but I like Frank more and then I can have a whole team of Zombie killing heroes! And Elektra would be a good girl character for Marvel, and if they are free I will be so happy! But if not I would pay for them aswell

Howard the Duck would be a lot better I think, I dont like Modok, but they cant replace him so I will just not use him

I actually enjoy MODOKS presence. He seems fun to play as and fun to beat up lol. I prefer him than Howard the Duck. Hate Shuma though, he gives me the creeps.

I think Shuma will be fun to play as, but I think he looks a lot different then he did in MVC2
