Omg, plumbob, that was what it was called xD
Its all coming back to me now... Boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, then clicking that damn diamond to hide it...All that typing 0.0

I dunno if I can see the broadcast due to time diffrences, so hopefully there'll be a replay button

I like it, it's kinda similar to the Sims 3 one, just less reflective and opaque.
By the way, it's called a Plumbob. :)

Also, Sims 4 live broadcast which will show gameplay.
On August 22 at 8AM PDT

Yeah, it's not that I just flat out hate it, the diamond doesn't really bother me. This one just looks a little too big, and I think it lacks what it had in the 3rd game.

I'm really hoping they give us more options in the actual world then they did in Sims 3, like options only available when you get the other games. Like going to night clubs, college, apartments, living on boat houses, and traveling. Other then boat houses those things are all pretty common in life and I think they should include them, but then again there goes half of their expansions.

The Sims 4 was first to be showcased at the Press Conference.
It showed an "Arrival" Trailer as well as Gameplay footage.

The ''Arrival" Trailer and the Gameplay Trailer was released on their Youtube Channel.

Graphics: The Graphics seem to be more close to the Sims 2 but a little bit more realistic and polished.

New Feature: Emotions

Create-A-Sim Updated: Sim Sculpting & Movement Style

Build and Buy Mode Updated: Move Rooms & Drag Walls

I have to say, I'm really looking forward to the Sims 4.
I love the graphics, they look cartoony but with a touch of realism and remind me alot of the Sims 2.
I really like the way you create your sims, and the fact that now you can modify more stuff like the bootie xD
Build Mode looks nice and easy to use, it would be cool if there is a "Turn Off Snap to Grid" mode, for advanced builders. Which lets you put objects anywhere not being constricted to the square grid thing, and also being able to rotate them and make them face any direction.
Would be cool if the same was applied to walls, and with the ability to make a circular room.
And I would love them if they added different shops ( not rabbit holes ) like Clothes Shops ( Like in the Sims 2 where you had to buy more clothes and not have all of them available when you use the Plan Outfit thing like it is in the Sims 3 ).
Plus this Emotion thing is sure to make the game feel more alive and dynamic.

Agree I also want them to have more romantic options like Sims2 and and sociable options. And like you said NO RABBIT HOLES! Also I wish they add weather into the game. :storm:

To be honest this all looks to much like Sims 3 to me, I'm not saying I wont get it, but it does. I feel like while the realistic feel is nice, I really don't like the cartoon feel it almost looks like a mix between Sims 3 and The Sims Social on facebook.

I like that you can alter the movement style -- that seems like it could be cool.  In their example, however, it looks like there aren't as many different body types as I would like.

I like the idea of new movement styles

Arrival trailer looks awesome, very dynamic
The build mode looks awesome aswell, more 'polished'

I do oh-so hope that the 'create a city' tool that was abscent from sims 3 makes its return

I really like the female hairstyles shown in the gameplay trailer.
Especially the one the blond has in this pic.
I have to say, the game looks alot more polished and natural than the Sims 3, I really like the trees that are in the neighborhood we see in the Sims 4 gameplay trailer and pics, they give a sense of atmosphere that was never present in the Sims 3, at least for me.

I hope they add in the ability to have different heights, I think that is one of the major flaws in the Sims because everyone is the same height by a certain age.
