Returning from the earlier years of the Star Wars Sage comes the Boba Fett Vintage Voicepack! This pack features various lines ripped from the pre-Special Edition versions of various parts of Star Wars media to give Boba Fett's voice the gravely tone he used to sport before the Prequel Trilogy, with other supplementary sources used to further flesh out the amount of lines he has.

Voice Sources:

Jason Wingreen—Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

Gabriel Dell—The Star Wars Holiday Special

Tom Kane—Star Wars Demolition/Jedi Academy

This is the life of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

A weary hermit living among the sands. The crazy wizard who lives in a rustic hovel out in the bluffs of the Dune Seas of Tatooine. The stranger who occasionally makes runs into Mos Eisley to barter for parts and foodstocks and occasionally makes witty banter with the bartenders in the local cantina. He is both all of these and yet none of them at the same time.

In the past he was many things. He was a Jedi Master of high standing. He was a General in the Grand Army of The Republic, a negotiator without peer and a savant of the defensive form of lightsaber combat. He was the pupil of canny Qui-Gon Jinn and the slayer of the monstrous General Grievous. He was the friend of many a great light just as much as he was also the master of terrible darkness.

And all of those titles and accolades and the histories of deeds and grief pale in comparison to the duty in which he has now been charged: he is the watchful protector of a hope of a brighter galaxy.

Obi-Wan's most important role is this: he is the guardian of Luke Skywalker.

His battlegrounds are now the evenings spent in watchful silence, the stretches of time spent in quiet contemplation about the further mysteries of the energy that binds organics and the immaterial together. There will come a time where the Jedi Master will stand and take up the fight once more against the darkness that swallowed it whole. For now, he simply is content to watch and prepare for the day where he will be needed...

But the Force has its own ways of testing those who wield it, and it is saving its most daring for last...

************************************************************************************************************

"Oh blast..."

Obi-Wan took up the branch and prodded at the logs. No fresh embers sputtered from his poking.  He must've been meditating for longer than he'd figured, and these Tatooine nights were remarkably brisk. Letting out a resigned sigh, he contemplated getting the pit burning again but decided against it. It was getting late enough as it is, and being caught unawares too late into the night was an invitation for disaster this close to the Tusken camps.

He stood upright and brushed some of the sand from his trousers, turned to head back in the direction of his hut...

Kenobi felt the disturbance before he saw it, like ripples of life cascading back into itself. It wasn't the kind of echo that heralded a great loss of life, like was said to have occurred on planets such as Cathar or the lost planet of Malachor V, but it was to a similar degree in intensity. He turned and saw it: a tear in air no larger than a full-grown wookiee, pulsating with the sort of spatial distortion that most saw only when they were in a ship entering hyperspace for the jump to lightspeed velocities.

"What in The Force?.."

Obi-Wan took a cautious step forward, hand drifting near the lightsaber hilt clipped to his belt beneath his robes. He could see shapes moving through the tear, flashes of energy fire, armored warriors battling models of droids in the skies of an unknown city, the deck of a burning airship as more figures garbed in garb as radically different from each other as a Jedi's robes were different from Padme's infamous wardrobe appeared in a flash of lightning to do similar battle with the machines.

"I have a very bad feeling about this," he mused. He closed his eyes, looking to the Force for guidance. Should he enter, leave his post in guarding Luke and the Lars Homestead from afar, even for this? But he could see it, even in this brief moment, the ramifications of this crisis unresolved.

And so Obi-Wan took his weapon in hand, his blade of sky-blue light flashing brightly as he strode forth into the vortex for one last fight...
