I'd say Cyclops is dead certain (is that the right expression? :/ ), Hawkeye should be pretty high up there, too. I'd like to see as well War Machine, Cable and Herc.

You don't seriously *believe* all of those will make DLC do you? There is a difference between believing something will happen based on solid, factual evidence, and then hoping something will based on your want and desire. Honestly, I don't see half of those making it in.
I remember seeing something about the devs saying Hawkeye and Cyclops were all but in, but due to time or something stupid they had to be cut at last minute. Honestly I can say that they have a 98% of making it in as DLC then because they are basically already done. Then again, Cyclops is also a Wii exclusive and may not be for that reason, as well as Psylocke. Juggernaut was a preorder bonus and thus most likely will not be DLC. But Hawkeye again for sure is going to be DLC. Shadowcat, War Machine, Cloak and Dagger? Highly, highly doubtful.
I, for one, am fully aware that most of the names I mentioned, besides Cyclops and perhaps Hawkeye, are nothing but wishful thinking.
I'm guessing it'll be based on popularity at this point. Since it's DLC I don't think they're going to worry very much about story breaking characters/n-Space exclusives if there's a real want for them.
For me Cyclops and Hawkeye are already in (as Burning rage said, they were in but got out at the last minute),Psylocke is in due to kalina's post, and I think Spider Woman too. There is a concept art from robo- Fury battle and you can see 3 playable characters and her. I assume her case was like Hawkeye's and Cyclops'. Other than those 4 I got no idea who might be playable...
Hawkeye was a PSP/wii exclusive and still they made him a DLC for MUA1. And because Blade, Psylocke & Cyclops are already done, I THINK they might be exclusives. Well, Blade ain't gonna be (I THINK).
I'll just wait and see who the DLC will be. Not that it's useful for me: I do not own the PS3 nor the X360 :-<

Myself wouldn't comment with stuff like "And that is just a list of people who may make it" since you've been posting lists of characters you wanted to see in MUA2/DLC for MUA2 and almost made facts of it (more like, rumors). Emma Frost is unique because, outside all the Grey's, there aren't really many big name telepaths. She also fills the role of a female bruiser without being a hulking monstrosity. She's also a very relevant character whilst Rogue's last time in the limelight was during the Hecatomb thing and she hasn't really been seen since. Her team wasn't particularly successful either. Yes, she has a unique power but I'd prefer too see others.
Though I don't want them to make some characters like Emma Frost because you just know VV will make them ugly.

What the fuck? Doom? Magneto? Are you serious? I don't care for Cable but I can live with it. But DOOM and MAGNETO? It's a God damn hero game, not Villains who got their asses handed to them deciding to fight alongside the heroes game.
Sure, in the beginning of the game we invaded Latveria, tortured their food, ate their babies, raped their horses and rode off on their women... but he decided to be a good sport and fight alongside those very bastards who destroyed his home! Way to take one for the team.
Seriousy, this solidifies it. Fuck VV. They suck as a company. They fucked up MUA2, and they're fucking up even more with their shitty excuse for DLC. The only character I like out of that bunch is Psylocke. When will they stop reusing Chocolate egg and actually do new stuff? Raven made most of the Chocolate egg they are using. They are a sorry excuse for a company and completely lack anything original within it other than a mass amount of fail and suck. I for one, would not even wipe my ass with this DLC. I'll have to thank them for saving me money.

Nope, it's definitely Gargan in both versions. His alternate costume is supposed to be Brock though from what I read on the preview a while ago from the devs. So that means the VV version has Brock as an alternate only, but the N-Space doesn't have him at all. Gargan as Venom is retarded as Chocolate egg to begin with, he was Scorpion and already had powers. Should've kept Eddie I liked him better anyway.
I don't have anything against Gargan being Venom, it's the issue of him being in the game as Scorpion as WELL that I'm opposed to.
The n-Space version doesn't actually mention WHO the Venom wearer is, but the trivia questions don't mention Gargan in any way, while Brock and the various symbiotes appear in several questions. That's what confused me.

So far, Carnage is 100% official (he is on the official site, under the characters section). I hope Dr. Doom was just a joke. A really bad joke.
Doom would be ok if he didn't break the story. They mention in the game about 100 times that he is dead. Magneto seems cool, as does Cable and Psylocke had to be in. Carnage is ok but I don't really like the amount of Spider Man villains in. But he seems fun to play as.
It has been said that this will be the first set so we can still expect Hawkeye and Cyclops.
I like Cable aswell and I just love Carnage (why do I like these insane characters :D ). For me, I hate Doom. He is so...boring. Hawkeye would have been better for me (because then I could have play with Deadpool, Iron Fist, Hawkeye and Cable :D )

But in MUA1, they had an extremely lame reason for Doom to be in DLC. DLC Doom and Doom (boss) are from different universes. In this game, the Dr Doom that died can be just another doombot. hahahaha

Doom can sit back and watch the show but this way he can actually fight against the heroes he hates and defeat them himself and sabotage the side he is on from the inside. Probably anti as he can fight Reed and Anti doesn't have much think tanks as Pro does and thus easier to sabotage. If Cap works with him that is different.

Apparently that post that Blaw found is not anymore on the official site. Many people think that the list it's true due the reveal of Carnage, but the fact is that Carnage was the winner of one of the offcial polls in the main screen of the site. He also was hinted in one of the post by Kalina in her tread.
I think that the DLC will be releated to fan favorites due the huge deceptions on many reveals (characters and costumes)
I can imagine that the first pack of DLC would involve the winers of the other polls, who were Cable, Emma Frost, Rogue and Archangel (and Carnage of course). Not sure if all of them will be included, though.
By the way Kalina also told that 2 of the exclusive characters will be DLC as well, so Cyclops, Psylocke, Blade, Sentry and She Hulk has chances.

Hulk and Jean cause mental dmg? I see Cable focused on tk and weapons. One minor reason I don't see Emma playable is because jean and Scott are in the game as a couple together. Minor very but it gave me some suspicions. Her fan base is strong but I still have serious doubts about her, Nova, Sentry and many other huge fan base characters

Totally agree, Emma and Rogue deserve a chance, both are cool and has great powers. But Emma was not so bad on XML1 she was a great melee fighter and her passives and boost were the best on the game, but yeah her telepathic powers should be better than XML1. Rogue also need updates...
That would be my choices for female DLC, Emma, Rogue and She- Hulk. Spider Woman and Psylocke are favorites too.
I also hope that Raven makes the XML3.

(I love Doom. I just despise the idea of him being playable, thus wasting a slot that would be well deserved to another character. Nevertheless, Doom could be a great NPC in this game -- not the final boss or anything, just a great NPC; could either help or slow down the heroes according to his interests, eventually getting away with the usual megalomaniac line!)

I don't see Nightcrawler cause of Deadpool and many other X-Men are being asked for. I agree with Cable and Bishop. Only one can be playable. I see Cyke and Psylocke as they said Cyke was originally in the inital roster. Same for Hawkeye. There is a huge number of X-Men compared to the other random characters. Most of the important random characters have pretty much been included in some way in the game whereas hardly none of the X-Men have been included. I personally feel that the X-Men have a lot more diversity and interesting powers than other groups.

Can say the same about seeing the same Avengers in every game as well. Some may be fed up of seeing Cyclops and others but I'm fed up of seeing Captain America, Iron Man and Deadpool. Iron Man and Deadpool have even been playable in more XML/MUA games than the major X-Men characters.
Well, if we count everything (MUA DLC's and other version's exclusives), then Cyclops were in every game. The same goes for Wolverine and Storm aswell. Oh, and Iceman! Can't forget him.
DLC and exclusives can't really be counted because they're not available to everyone. Iceman has more of a right to be in all of them than Storm and Wolverine do. All of the original X-Men should have a higher priority than them.

His importance has been forced. Wolverine Origins, Wolverine and the X-Men, the countless Wolverine mini-series. He's a boring, bland character who can't die, just kills everything and asks questions later. His only importance is to line Marvel's pockets with cash.
Maybe, but don't forget, that he is a New Avenger/X-Men/etc. so putting him in, is like a two-in-one :D But still, I would prefer some new characters, like Green Goblin was :)

You forgot something. They put a poll in the main site and every poll was won by an X men, also the most requested characters in the offcial forum are x men (Emma Frost, Rogue, Cyclops and Psylocke). I really doubt that the poll were hacked.
I'm with Dihan, the x men has diversity in their powers and like it or not, are the most popular super heroes (in a group)in marvel (blame Xmen TAS, everyone has seen that show :D), even more than the Avengers (maybe that will change when the movie is released). For you and others, too many x men are boring, but there's a huge fan base that thinks exactly the opposite, and for that I'm sure that will include at least 2 more x men in DLC.
By the way, considering the clue from Kalina (she said that the next character is related with BEAUTY and a highly requested in the forum) I'm almost sure that the next DLC is Psylocke, but also Emma Frost, Rogue and She Hulk are considered so I don't know.

But I'd agree there should be a more ecletic roster of DLC than just mutants and Spidey's foes. Nova and Hawkeye immediately spring to mind. Hercules also would be a good addition, IMO, since his appeal for the mythic might reflect just nicely the variety in the Marvel universe (even though we already got enough 'tanks'/bruisers).

Moon Knight also brings something of a mythical feel, since he's supposed to be an avatar of egyptian god Khonshu. Yeah, I could live with a well done rendition of this character.

Well, you know at least one more X-Man will be in. Personally so long as it's not Emma I'll be fine. She's so overrated. I'd like to see Hawkeye and Moon Knight, maybe even Ghost Rider. This is a tough one for me because if the DLC sucks I won't be buying the game - so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. I'd love to have Punisher of course, but THQ still holds exclusive rights to him for a few years, so that ain't happening. I'm also big on how you get these DLC characters too - if they're already in the game they shouldn't be unlocked by default - someone like War Machine should unlock if you play Pro-Reg the first time (and then be always unlocked after that play-through). Vision might be fun too.

Yeah, I was really surprised that given the leak of the five characters that Hawkeye wasn't one of them (You actually see the character select menu for a second in the video above, so the leaks are true). Speaking of which, wouldn't it be nice if they (eventually) unlocked him for all to use? The exclusivity is good, but this is no MMORPG and as such the potential usefulness for the developer-publisher tag team is much, much more short-lived as far as 'exclusive to some players' content is concerned.
Yeah, my guess is that he'll be a timed exclusive for pre-orders. At some point after the DLC is released you'll be able to buy him.
