I think that Pietro having been the subject of 3 distinctly different complete mods means that he Activision should seriously consider him for inclusion in the future...
This has to be the best of the three. The moves are more different from each other, and based on the physical style of QS. I just tested him until the first SAP, but does his movement speed increase, or is he super-fast only when attacking?
His boost buffs his movement speed, though not as significantly as I think'd be expected. I figured I had to put some sort of cap on his speed for a semblance of balance. And thanks, I'll check out that skin.
EDIT: Sweet, that fixed it. Link has been updated with a dot-less Quicksilver.

Pietro was popular since always, but the developers never gave him eoguh importance to include him in a game (except for little supporting roles).

Wow, really love this Namor. Ran into some errors though. Namor is not strong enough to lift heavy objects even though his strength is 12 in the herostat. His electrical discharge crashes the game. Other than those two thing, this Namor mod is one of the best ever released here in my opinion. I absolutely love the way he glides instead of runs and I love his grapple animation, how he grabs people by the throat and lifts them up crushing the life out of them. This mod does Namor justice.
I haven't run into either of those issues. Don't know what the stem of them would be. If anyone else runs into them, lmk.
EDIT: Tell me this: was Iron Man on your team when the move crashed the game?

It's not the strength value, you have to copy someone else's (Thing, for example) 'might' talent to Namor's herostat to make him lift heavy objects.
I checked Namor's herostat and he has the might talent in it. Not sure why he can't lift heavy objects.

Some great work here, BLiZZ. I've always been a fan of both Namor and Quicksilver, mostly Namor though, heh. However I did have one question. If I wanted to have Namor run on the ground as normal but still be able to fly, what would I have to edit in his herostat? Or is there more to it than just the herostat entries as I suspect after looking at them more closely, heh.

Uploaded a small Quicksilver fix. Nothing major, just updates his teleport animations and his menu animations (so that they are not the same as Deadpool) And changes his herostat from "Focus" based to "Body" based.

If I wanted to have Namor run on the ground as normal but still be able to fly, what would I have to edit in his herostat? Or is there more to it than just the herostat entries?

I believe all you would need to do is backup the "63_namor_hero.igb" in the "actors" directory, then copy another characters file (ie "10_thor.igb")and rename it to "63_namor_hero.igb"
You can do as tommy suggested, or:
1) Open up 63_namor_hero.igb with a Hex Editor
2) Search for "idle" "walk" and "run".
3) Change those to "0dle" "0alk" and "0un".
hey blizz dont you think namor's 2nd skill's effect kind of hurts the eye? it's flashing so bright whenever i use it. is it intentional?

Seeing these cool-looking Spidey villains, I think I shall remove Carnage from my Toxin mod and give Carnage a new powerset! :D
Most people would've been happy if Carnage was just a skin for Venom. And when I say most people I mean just me.
Only Venom Thrust, Symbiote Flail and Claws look right on Carnage, everthing else is too Venom-esque.
These three attacks don't look that great on Venom seriously.

This is a bug from the animation loops of the game. You'll notice it with almost every character if you look closely enough, it is just more profound with Blob because of the way his animations are.

Blizz, I looked the "Official Gallery skin", and I see the 3 skin for Hank pym, and I think you can use "lab coast", that is already in the game. Afterwards, it's like you want.

Where does the bug originate from. Could it be solved by using another walk animation for example?

Updated Blob, Avalanche, and Quicksilver with fixed huds. They remove the "Iceman Shadow" glitch from them when you are running the game in a low resolution. Also changed Blob's filenames to Blob_Hero and Avalanche's to Avalanche_Hero.
The hud which needed to be fixed are:
Quicksilver - Ultimate
Blob - All 4
Avalanche - Classic, Freedom Force and X-Corps

I'll try to reload those files and see what happens. I didn't know if something went awry with the naming of "Namor" files vs. "Submariner" files.

Blizz, either noone has reported this or noone has downloaded Jubilee, but when you select her the game crashes. I know it's because she doesn't have a Generation X costume (which is her default one) so maybe you could make another skin her default one. Or just leave it as it is, considering noone has reported this before.
Btw, the link for Psylocke is misstyped.
Yeah, I don't think anyone is too interested in Jubilee (as evidenced by the lack of "OMG game crashes!!1!1!!!" posts/PMs that I would have gotten), so I don't think I'll bother with a placeholder, I'll just wait for the real thing :laugh: You can always just copy another skin as 19201 if you want to use her.

Re Jubilee: Well I certainly play with her. However, by the time I tried her for the first time I was also educated enough in basic modding to fix the problem for myself in seconds. So no complaining from me.
Yep same here, Initial Jubilee boot failed so I gave her two Jim Lee spots and BAM! No worries and no need to bother busier people.
Iammingy got the Generation X skin done, so if you want a fourth one you can download that. Now she just needs a mannequin (preferably Jim Lee)

why don't you do your own punisher mod ? if you can't shut up and wait. All the modders here work for free and have another live they work, study and they do this on the free times. If you aren' t happy wainting for this do it yourself.

All of the models are publicly released, but he lost everything when he had a hard drive crash, so someone would have had to rewrite the whole mod anyways.

I love Blizz's Quicksilver mod, and was tired of playing "silent" Pietro due to lack of sounds. So I put together a set of my own. Use it if you wish.
Quicksilver Sound Additions (http://www.mediafire.com/?gdmczst3wju)
Voice sounds are Magneto's (like father, like son, and no one else sounded arrogant enough to me), and power sounds come from all over the place.
File also includes an updated powerstyle that just references the new sounds. Nothing else should be changed.
Let me know what you think. I've also done some renaming of power sounds in the zsm for Avalanche (another favorite mod of mine) so they sound in-game, but that's not quite done yet. I'll make it available when it is.
hey does anyone know something about blizz?? i would like to see a punisher mods :P i know there's a skin for punisher but it's not the same it's like war machine and iron man two different chars now that there's a mod :S

This is weird. I renamed some of Avalanche's sounds and matched them in the zsm. They work fine.
Trouble is, his earth slide power now seems to be screwed up. I THINK it was working before I tinkered with it, but I'm not sure.
Does anyone else have this happen? During his Earth Slide power, Avalanche bursts into his jump slam animation? I've tried to fix it, but am not having success. Did I screw something up or is this a bug from the original upload.
What changes did you make to Avalanche's sounds, exactly? They seem to play fine for me.
Anyway, I updated Avalanche and Quicksilver with new loading screens, Quicksilver with sounds (thanks to Cates), and Namor & Avalanche with new mannequins. Quicksilver still needs further sound updates (ie a new non-Magneto voiceset) Namor still needs sounds and a loading screen.

I can't remember where I dumped the topic, but I uploaded a ton of raw VO from games somewhere. You might find someone really useful in there. As I recall I had a voice picked out for Quicksilver from Jedi Outcast/Academy, but I never built it.

I wasn't getting any power sounds in game from the version of Avalanche I downloaded. I opened the zsm and the hashes were listed in a non-standard fashion (something that had like lowercase As and Bs). I just renamed the hashes without changing any of the sounds and they worked fine. That is such a fun mod.

I accidentally packaged up an older version of the powerstyle. I have fixed that and uploaded the new version. The only difference is the animation number for his grab-smash. If you downloaded and installed the version I uploaded yesterday, only the ps_punisher file needs to be replaced.
Oh yeah? sweet, you're referring to the wonky grab-smash animation I take it? It was crazy looking although I was perfectly willing to just ride Castle out to the end anyway since even that move looked cool while he was doing it ;D

Hi...I'd like to comment on BliZZ' s Punisher mod...it was awesome. I've a question, though. I am not able to do his regular melee combat moves(pop-up,regular,stun,trip). how can this be fixed?
You have to start a new game. If you've beaten the game already you must start a new game and select "Use Default Stats".

BliZZ, I've been reading alot about the development of the Namor mod and have four questions. I trust this is the right place to ask:
1. For "Liquid Coffin," is a bubble surrounding the victim supposed to be visible at all? I'm not seeing anything but a "frozen" victim.
2. Is there a way to increase the radius of the "Water Vortex" on a PC's keyboard?
3. What happened to the "Arctic Burst" power?
4. Also, was Namor supposed to carry a trident? I saw this in a discussion with cvc and others.

1 - The bubble is supposed to be visible, but sometimes it just won't appear at all. I couldn't figure out the pattern, if there is any.
2 - Keep "4" pressed/ tapping it rapidly? Haven't tried it yet.
4 - No, not on BliZZ's mod.

Got a problem with electro. When hi died i waited and revived him, then he bugged no powers :(. He does the animations but no lighting, no damage, no boosts only doing animations. Any help?
Download and see :D Blizz isnt around anymore so someone else (with permission) would have to add sounds and loadscreen , In the Mod catalog it doesnt say his missing sounds or a loadscreen ?

Oh, sorry. I checked all the other pages but I forgot this one. Perhaps one could extract the sounds for Quicksilver or Magneto and add them. Just the voice, not power sounds. If Magneto has a line saying something bad about humans then he would be the best idea for Namor.

Well i have some sort of sounds for electro in-game. But still the power bug when hi dies. Any one who understand this things give a reply.
Oh didn't thinkt here were any because under the Punisher mod on page 1 post 1 it says sounds and under the Namor mod it only said XTreme callout for sounds.
I have a little problem. Installed the OC then electro on my cousin's PC. But he doesn't show. :S Any idea?
Edit: Oh, if this is gonna make things easir, first replaced him with hawkeye and didn't work then with mr.fantastic and the same thing.
The Electro mod works so if its not showing up its something you've done.
I know it works. I have it on my PC but on the other doesn't work.
I have coppied the files and pasted them in the MUA folder. Then replaced the herostat with mr.fantastic. When i start a new game it says that he is unlocked. I go further for the save point and there is no electro, just locked spot ?
Use the unlock code : Press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Left, Left, Enter at the character select screen.
Well, the problem is that i don't want to unlock the chars. It is stupid the hulk to meet Banner on the Omega or Nightcrawler to save Nightcrawler.... (my cousin loves them that's why he'll play allways with them..)

His legs are to close to each other.
Unfortunately you can't. Not easily anyways. Those are common animations for all characters.

Sorry to bump an old thread ..
But there is a problem with Rhino. His normal and heavy attack animations don't show. They ARE triggered because the enemy does take damage, it's just that you don't actually SEE Rhino doing anything to inflict that damage.
Up to this point I would have said that you simply forgot to put the animations in the pack.. but "sometimes" I do see the animation: when I press the "normal attack" button and rapidly after that the "heavy attack" button. So.. what then? Is there an error in the code, the triggers .. somehow?
And I'm pretty sure the problem is not in my PC, cause I have another mod from this thread (Quicksilver) and he's flawless.

This is because I replace him from :ghostr:, if that helps...
You gave the answer you were looking for. The spot for Ghost Rider is meant for Ghost Rider. If you want to remove the flames there, you need to look around on the forum on how to remove those flames there.
